The most amusing thing about this episode was watching Sam, the Uber-Alpha male, try to deal with sweet, stubborn Princess Marabeth - and losing the battle AND his temper. Being used to giving orders and being obeyed is great for work, but trying to deal with a sweetheart that way was a mistake, right from the beginning. Canceling all of her public appearances with no notice, then refusing to tell her why, was obviously not the way to handle the situation. Once she forced him to explain why he'd done it, and made him allow her to read the hate mail herself, she immediately cooperated with him and his guards, and even helped identify the nutcase who had been making the threats. I was so glad to see Marabeth stick with her own convictions, in spite of her feelings for Sam, and refuse to enter into an abusive relationship with a dominant male (like her father). He would never have changed if she hadn't put her foot down. Now there is only Prince Max left to marry off, so that his father can get the grandchildren he's so looking forward to! I'll bet that story is going to be a winner.

This book was almost as good as the first but not quite as believable. A bit to, I don't know how to say it. Here in Australia we would say hairy fairy and everyone will know what I mean. But for non Aussies it means to cute and cuddly to be real or something like that. Having said that it still is well written and a good read, but in my opinion just not as good as the first one. I am going to still read the next book though. Happy reading.

It seemed to be repeating itself in the story line for several chapters, then started to get interesting when she decided to get her mind straight. But still a good book.

I really enjoyed reading this second book of the series. Sam is ex military and tries to boss Marybeth around. I highly recommend reading this series.

I did not like how EL ended this one. I don't want to ruin it for anyone but the resolution comes in the epilogue. Who does that? I kept waiting for the conflict at the end that finally brings the couple solidly together and it never happened.

Unpredictable is good but this felt like tripping and falling on your face.

It was worth the purchase, but not a re-read.

The plot was outstanding! As always Elizabeth LENNOX weaves a story about a married couple living apart but still in love! Grandmother has two heart attacks and Dante comes after her for grandmother. Soon he discovers his MOTHER is the problem. Read how it all works out!

Book 2 in the Royal Cordova Trilogy and it does not disappoint. A very delightful read. The story gives you all the feels. Plus it touches on some great issues like body shaming and politics vs common sense. Sexual tension between the two takes through the whole book.

The outrageous strong and demanding man the seemingly soft and weak woman? Not really! I Love Lennox but most of hers are too short for me but it keeps me engaged, interested and wanting more! Thank goodness for them being a series! LOL
