A sexy second-chance rock-star romance set in the world of the Wrights about Campbell and Blaire from USA Today best-selling author K.A. Linde…

Campbell Abbey is the lead singer of the biggest band in the universe right now.

He’s also the boy I fell in love with in high school when no one knew my name.

Now, I have a million followers, teaching girls every day how to love themselves and get over that boy that wronged them.

If only I could take my own advice…and not still pine for the Wright that got away.

My new favourite of the series!

I was so intrigued with Campbell from the previous books and I’m so excited that we finally got his and Blaire’s story. “Wright That Got Away” is a rockstar romance with a second chance small town twist.

Campbell is back in Lubbock, Texas after another successful tour with Cosmere. But being back brings back memories and hurt that Blaire had felt when Campbell left town 8 years ago. The two have a history that goes back to high school that no one knew about. The tension between them is tense but fate has brought them back together.

This has moved up to the top as my favorite from the Wright series. Campbell and Blaire pulled at my heartstrings from their past and all of the things they went through. I loved reading about them falling for each other all over again. So many things can change from when you’re young but this story proves that if you’re patient, the stars will align again to bring you back to who you were meant with. I loved that Campbell wasn’t your typical rockstar. He was confident but had a good head on his shoulders, the fame never got to him. Blaire was amazing because she didn’t automatically fall for Campbell again. She made sure to have him work for her again because she was still hurt from the past. Blaire has a backbone and that had me cheering for her and Campbell. I loved the plot twist we got towards the end. I can honestly say I didn’t see it coming and it had my jaw dropping. I can’t wait for the next book!

Erin Mallon and Aiden Snow were amazing as Blaire and Campbell. Erin brought all of Blaire’s emotions and struggles to life. And I will never get tired of hearing Aiden’s gruffy voice. He was the perfect choice to portray Campbell.

The Wright series continues to blow me away yet again!!!

I know I keep saying it but this series just gets better and better!!! K.A. Linde continue to write with the perfect amount of angst that makes it addicting to the point you’re turning page after page to find out what’s next! This book is an enemies to lovers troupe with a fantastic plot line and incredible romance! We’ve fallen in love with Campbell and Blair throughout the series as we’ve seen them interact with their friends and family but always knew there was more to their story based on their demeanors with each other. I’m extremely satisfied that K.A. Linde gave them the story they deserved! This is one story that is way too good to spoil anything and is so much better finding everything out as you read. What more do you need to know than it’s all the best enemies to lovers vibes combined with a hot famous musician and beautiful influencer!

Erin Mallon and Aiden Snow absolutely knocked this narration out of the park!! Aiden was the perfect swoon worthy voice for Campbell and Erin continues to do a phenomenal job with the ladies of the Wright series! They both make this story such an easy and enjoyable listen!

Slow Burn Second Chance Rocker Romance

We finally get to hear Blaire and Campbell's story! Blogger/influencer Blaire's high school relationship with rock star Campbell ended badly. Since then, they haven't spoken. After eight years, Campbell is temporarily back in Lubbock. Now, can Campbell turn the one that got away into The One?

Campbell and Blaire kept their past relationship a secret from everyone. As they spend time together, the details of their past and heartbreak are slowly revealed. Wow! There's so much to unpack. We are treated to their entertaining banter, special connection, and sizzling chemistry as they finally heal from their deep pain. And I loved their support of one another. Blaire and Campbell worked hard to be together throughout their messy, angsty, and emotional journey.

The fun group of friends we've seen throughout this series is back. This group always has each other backs, so it's no surprise that they are there for Blaire and Campbell. And there are Easter eggs! I loved seeing the characters from other K.A. Linde series make appearances as well.

The narrating duo of Erin Mallon and Aiden Snow did an excellent job. Erin Mallon voices Blaire's hesitation to give Campbell a second chance and her longing. Aiden Snow's sexy voice fits rocker Campbell perfectly.

Loved it - Great story and great narration

I love the Wright family, so any book that is a part of this universe is sure to be a winner for me. Having read the previous books in the Wright Brothers series I was excited to dive in to Campbell Abbey and Blaire Barker’s story . This was a great addition to the series and I quickly became invested in the story that K.A. Lind wove.
Erin Mallon and Aiden Snow did a fabulous job with their narration, their voices are easy to listen to and brought the story to life for me.
It was great to be back in Lubbock, Texas and to catch up with some familiar faces. I enjoy small town romance and Wright That Got Away ticked all the boxes for me. It’s a second chance at love story that was captivating. I really loved blogger Blaire, she is such a kind, caring, compassionate woman who I could easily see as a friend.
Campbell is the lead singer of a world famous band. He and Blaire have a complicated history as he broke her heart when he left to pursue his music career. Now he’s back and wants a second chance, but Blaire is determined that she will not put her heart on the line again.
There was angst, romance, passion and so many emotions that I found it entertaining to watch the journey that Campbell and Blaire travelled.
Can they work through the past? Can Campbell convince Blaire to take a chance? One click and find out.
