Publisher's summary

One drunken night and one case of mistaken identity turn a friendship inside out....

You’ve seen the hockey twins around campus - they look identical, but you can tell them apart by their actions. Patrick is the one who’s busy charming women. Paxton is the one in the library.

Until one night, when Paxton parties a little harder than usual. Next thing he knows, he’s waking up naked next to Naomi, the girl of his dreams. He bares his heart before an awful realization sets in. He’s not the twin she thought he was....

Naomi is the only child of a hockey legend. Partying hard is the best way she knows how to rebel against her controlling father. After a particularly crazy night, she realizes her big mistake. Her hookup isn’t the guy she’s been crushing on. It’s Paxton, her friend, the guy who gets her, who she can always count on. The guy she’d never want to hurt. And yet, the sex was good. Better than good.

Now, she’s wondering if the wrong twin might be the right one after all....

ehh it's fine

It's probably the weakest so far but it's a chill listen for a rainy Sunday kinda feel.

Not my fave

I love this series, but this book was hard to get through. Emma Wilder was great as always, but Tim Paige was a bit over the top. The writing wasn’t up to par with others in the series, either, though I’m not sure if the narration was partly to blame for how cheesy some of the male dialog was. I muddled through so I’d have the background needed for the next book in the series.

Too long and to cliche

So predictable and long. The dialogue was awful. Finished to continue the series. Waste of a credit!

A big struggle to get through

First I’ll say, I love Emma Wilder and she redeemed this story just a little bit. Tim Paige was very hard to listen to. Add in the very immature story line and it’s a definite refund request for me. The story line was so immature that I actually felt uncomfortable during the sex scenes forgetting these two were 21 year old college students, not middle schoolers. I’m sticking with the series, but may not be checking out any of Jami Davenport’s books if this is an idea of her writing.

Gametime

This was a lot of drama.
I was excited for the twin’s books but I am kinda disappointed if I am being honest. It felt like sibling rivalry and that was not the impression I got from previous books.

That right there put a damper on this book for me. Add in the drama and what is it with all these parents in these books butting their noses in on their adult children it is all very odd.
I took a break from this series and listened to a bunch of other books. But I really do want to finish this series so I think I will do one then something else see if that helps make the series not feel so childish.
The narration was great I do wish Emma Wilder wasn’t always cast for 20 ish females her voice is too rich and needs to be for 30-40 females where it can be appreciated.

Struggled to connect

Emma Wilder and Tim Paige are two of my favourite narrators and I love their story telling. Honestly the only reason I continued with this book is because their voices are a joy to listen to even the story falls flat.

I have been enjoying the Moo U series but this one missed the mark for me. I really struggled to connect with these characters. There was several communications issues and I was stunned by their decision making at times. Paxton has a twin and the story begins with Naomi realizing she hooked up with the wrong twin brother. She thought it was her brother Patrick. To me this doesn’t make for good story telling and I was mortified for Paxton right from the start. I wanted to see growth within these characters but it never really happened.

Just okay ...

I was not able to connect with Naomi. EWilder’s voice is awesome but it was not a good fit with Naomi. Wilder’s voice sounds mature thoughtful and soothing but Naomi was immature and careless I wasn’t soothed by Naomi I was irritated till the end. I couldn’t stand the way she strung Paxton along or how she spoke, especially her inner monologue. I read the book through to the end to find out how the Twins faired. Patrick was truly entitled and selfish. But they were very much a pair until Pax tried to break apart and make something of himself and not be just a support for his twin. So just an okay installment in this series.
