Publisher's summary

A new second chance single dad stand-alone romance set in the world of the Wrights from USA Today best-selling author K.A. Linde

At 17, I left Isaac Donoghue behind to become a professional ballerina.

When I return home to dance in the Nutcracker, I never expect to run into him. Let alone on my first day in town. I can’t help but admire him in a crisp suit with his toned soccer body, chiseled jaw line, and all too familiar piercing green eyes. I thought nothing could surprise me more.

Until his five year old daughter runs out of the ballet studio.

I’m only in town for a month. I shouldn’t get involved with anyone, especially the ex I’ve been pining after for years. Especially when he has a daughter to consider. But where Isaac is concerned, I’ve never been able to stay away.

With the help of some Christmas magic, maybe we finally have a shot at our second chance.

This was a cute holiday story. I love ZW’s narrations. He played the perfect Isaac.

Just (W)right

I thought this was a sweet single dad romance with the perfect holiday feel. You don’t have to read all of the Wright family series books in order to enjoy this one but you will see some familiar faces.

Red Raiders

My daughter and son in law both aar graduates of Texas Tech, so I could relate to the city and places, with that being said, love Zachary Webber Marisa not so much, her voice was too nasally for me and there just was not enough warmth to the way she convey her character, I finished the story since I bought the book but it felt rushed at the end and I just couldn’t warm up to Peyton’s character.

Short and cute

Short and cute story. Fun little book to read at the holidays. The female narrator took me a bit to get used to but I did. She mispronounced a few words but it didn’t detract from the story.

Loved this one

Actually loved this! Cheesy? Yes. Predictable? Sure. But isn’t that why we love romance? This was a great second-chance, small town, single dad romance at Christmas time - NYC Ballerina comes home to her small Texas town and needs to figure out what she really wants. Think Hallmark, but open door. My fave line: “We deserve our happiness, Pey, not just our dreams.”

Not for me

Not for me. Short but still dragging. Couldn’t finish. I was confused about how to picture who they.

A sweet and charming holiday romance with SUPERB narration!

A single dad, 2nd chance and holiday romance all in one! The perfect combination of a low drama story and a rekindling love that will have you easily turning page after page!

Isaac and Payton were once a blissfully happy couple in high school but Payton had big dreams in terms of her ballet. Being the charming guy that he is, Isaac never wanted to get in the way of her dreams so he simply let her go to New York to live that dream. Now, 16 years later, Payton found herself back in Lubbock to help with a local ballet studio for a friend. What happens next? How will she feel when she sees Isaac again? She’s only in town for a month so can things really happen between them?

“Fate had twisted us together again.”

Zachary Webber and Marisa Blake did a superb performance with the audible version of this book! They enveloped the delightful and charming vibe of the plot line through their voices. I especially loved their kid voices of Isaac’s daughter! An easy listen thanks to their performance!
