About this ebook

It was supposed to be a simple arrangement…

When Valerie’s designated match from the Arkadia Brides Agency offers her a deal that involves a quick marriage and divorce, she can’t believe her good luck. She can realize her dream of opening a tea shop, and without a pesky husband around she can send for her beloved sisters to join her. But as soon as she meets the blue-eyed giant who wants her to pretend to be in love with him, she is instantly, annoyingly attracted to him.

Atlas lives a quiet life of leisure. His only problem is a caveat in his grandfather’s will that means he will lose the family estate if he isn’t married by the age of thirty. So, he offers his match an arrangement - he gets his inheritance, and she gets a cut of the money to open her tea shop. Nobody falls in love, and nobody gets hurt. He just doesn’t expect his pretend bride to trigger an inescapable hurricane of lust and longing in him.

When a rival family member shows up and starts questioning their relationship, Valerie and Atlas suddenly find themselves a whole lot closer than they planned.

They’re convinced they’re putting on a show to fool everyone else, but it seems more and more like the only people they are fooling are themselves.

If you like strong women, hunky aliens, wild adventures, steamy sensual scenes, and happily-ever-afters, then you’ll love the world of Arkadia:

Second round of matchmaking is a family affair. In the midst of the fortunate and the little less fortunate, common ground and love can still be found. I love how they learn from one another and how their time together stirs up awareness, some real feelings and steaming chemistry. Exhilarating ride, full of heart, discovery and new experiences. Matched and scored, couldn't put it down! I received a free copy of this book and voluntarily chose to read and leave a review.

Atlas & Valarie Talk about a marriage of convenience. He'd conveniently live up to his grandfather's will and keep the house he loves. She'd have her dream of a Tea Shop come true. No muss no fuss with feelings and a real spouse. There is a catch. They have to convince those close, one relative, especially, that it is a love match. No problem until feelings for each other gets in the mix! They really enjoy being together. She's unlike the other women who just want him for his money. Yes, she has a goal but not for a rich lifestyle. He isn't just the wealthy playboy who doesn't accomplish anything. Will they be able to carry out their wedding when interference enters the picture? I like the message that carries into real life the author gives us. It's a gentle push but one we all need to live by.

Words to describe this book -- serious, fun, inspiring, kindness, edgy and the urge to choke someone. This is a fun book to read but one that prompts you to ponder and think more deeply. I always look forward to the many books of Tasha Black. I received a free copy of this book via BookFunnel and am voluntarily leaving a review.
