Hi Betts – you do not need Wi-Fi. The robot is not connected to the internet and the settings are selected right on the machine.

I have carpet in the whole house. Will it clean the carpets good? Most people with the reviews have

Great little robot, one of the best I have used so far. The dust bin comes out and you can take it apart to clean it. Do not get the filter wet. Other robots, I was not able to do this and it makes cleaning such a breeze. You can also detach the brush underneath the robot. Not only to clean, but say something gets stuck in it. You can detach and release the item, whereas other robots, I have to struggle to get it out or cut it out of brush. Optimally you would clear the floor beforehand, but say if you forgot something or you forgot to pick things up and it is scheduled to run, this is a great feature to have. It has automatic mode where you press play and it goes straight until it hits an obstacle and then makes a turn. It also has a mode to only run around the edges of the room, to run a single room mode (make sure you close all doors), and a spiral mode for concentrated cleaning. You can also manually control the robot with the remote. They give you batteries, but it uses 2 AAA batteries for the remote. The robot has a charging station. Make sure you place it up against a wall with enough room around for robot to move. Like do not place where a couch is directly next to it. Like all robots on the market, it needs enough space to be able to dock when it is done cleaning to charge itself.

It is very thorough and I really love that it goes under the furniture and navigates over my medium pile area rugs with no issues. Since i have arthritis, I don't do much with an upright vacuum anymore, so this alleviates a lot of problems with pain in my hands.

We just put in wood floors. We wanted a vaccum that wouldnt scratch the wood but didnt want to pay 600 for other brands we saw. We saw this one, read reviews and really researched what was best price wise. And let me tell you this vacuum does an awesome job picking up everything. I love that it picks up all the dog hair from every corner and under the shelfs. It goes on top of the kitchen mats and the small floor carpet. I love that I can set it on a schedule to start before everyone gets out of bed.

Thought I'd try out a little robotic vacuum for my floors as I have 2 young children who are constantly leaving crumbs everywhere!
Pro: I don't have to do much but turn on the vacuum with the remote. 
I can program it to run at a specific time or just use the remote to guide around the floor.
There is a small canister for you to remove and dump it over the trash. 
Any hair that is caugh on the roller is easy to remove with the cutting tool that they supply. 
I live in an apartment so there's not that much floor but it pretty much covers it all. 

Con: it does have a hard time getting corners which it's not surprising for a circular device. It's not that hard to just sweep out the corners and let the vacuum suck it up.

Add hair and skin cells and I literally vacuumed everyday for the house to feel decent. EV675 changed MY LIFE. I also suffer from severe Carpal Tunnel Syndrome so cleaning is painful for me. My little robot does the everyday clean we need, and once a week (or sometimes two weeks) I will use our Bissell wet-mop vacuum. EV675 picks up fine dust, to pony beads, grass, hair, etc. It has great battery life and is wonderfully intelligent, navigating complicated rooms, and physically able to get itself over high thresholds and transition from wood to carpet no problem. In my opinion it isn't loud, or large and heavy. My 2 toddlers got used to the robot, my 6 and 4 year old treat it like a pet and remove objects out of its way, and the baby just watches. Yet another awesome Bissell product, I'm so happy.

I have 2 air purifiers, cordless vacuum powerwash and thia robotic vacuum all Bissell brand. So, I bought this robotic vacuum and its a game changer. My kids are mostly home now and that means the mess will be endless. Food crumbs on the floor that I have to sweep like 10 times in a day. This vacuum has been very reliable. Does it job. Sucks all dirt, dust under furnitures very well. For a person with a back problem, this vacuum helps me a lot and made my life easier, my house cleaner. This machine is cheaper than the other brands but works great. Why would you buy an expensive product who serves the same purpose. We need to be practical nowadays.

A popular classroom "robot," say from Parallax, Inc., in Rocklin, California, with an ever-popular BBC micro:bit controller, costs about $200. So why not add a Bissell robotic vacuum cleaner to the STEM challenge? The classroom will be cleaner and "coding" will make real-world sense! A Parallax robot, reminiscent of an Erector Set toy car, is able to travel around a room. But keeping it from crashing into walls requires a variety of sensors plus programming its microcontroller. Can students code a BBC/Parallax robot to match the navigational capabilities already built into a Bissell vacuum cleaner? Science usually begins by observing, and the Bissell robotic vacuum shows off a variety of cleaning patterns and strategies. Can students "reverse engineer" its "thinking"? And when and how does the Bissell vacuum find its way back to its charger base?! Using (and maintaining) the Bissell vacuum is a good small-group activity, one that can be carried into the home! And being able to explain and duplicate (program) the same navigational capabilities into a BBC/Parallax robot will impress parents even more!
