Now, Apogee is offering this easy-to-use sonic shaping processor to everyone! This plug-in's vintage-modeled 3-band EQ is deceptively simple yet incredibly robust, permitting you to sculpt your tracks with ease. The Bob Clearmountain–tuned compressor includes automatic makeup gain and a mix knob for foolproof gain reduction and dead-simple parallel compression. The saturation module varies from a subtle sheen to full-on crunch — it's the perfect finishing touch for any track. You also get a flexible highpass filter that can be switched into the compressor's sidechain to safeguard against low-frequency-triggered pumping. To top it off, this plug-in's 1980s-inspired GUI will give longtime Apogee aficionados a warm, fuzzy feeling. The Apogee Symphony ECS Channel Strip supports DualPath Monitoring with DSP-equipped Apogee hardware.

DualPath Monitoring workflow
DualPath Monitoring offers a simple solution to let you continue to tweak your processing as you record and build your mix. Open the Apogee Symphony ECS Channel Strip in your DAW, link it to an Apogee hardware input, and a parallel Symphony ECS Channel Strip plug-in is automatically opened in the low-latency monitoring path. To maintain sonic consistency, changes made in either plug-in are instantly mirrored.
Note: DualPath Monitoring requires a supported Apogee hardware audio interface, such as the Element Series, Ensemble Thunderbolt, or Symphony Desktop.
