Lakeshore U Sports Romance Series

Break the Ice ( A Brother's Best Friend Sports Romance (Lakeshore U) is checks all the boxes for a fun sports romance Listen. A new adult story with compelling characters and slap-up storyline

Told in duet narration wiry Teddy Hamilton and Stella Hunter scoring the final goal! Great performances by both talented narrators. Stella's inflection is pleasantly entertaining to listen and brought Aurora's character to life. Teddy Hamilton's inflection is exactly what I pictured for Noah. He has the right amount of attitude and confidence.
Excellent performance by both narrators.

Great stoyr and narrators.

Brother’s best friend & hockey romance!

Ahhhh two of my favorite tropes wrapped into one. I absolutely loved this. It was also narrated by two of my favorite narrators so that made it even better!

cute hockey romance!

we love a hockey college romance book!

okay so this is my first book by L.A. Cotton and it was so good! I did this one on audio and it made me so happy that teddy was one of the narrators. he's one of my all time favorite. i really enjoyed this story of noah and aurora. i love a good opposties attract, and especially when they are college aged. you can really go many different directions and this one hit the spot for me. i got an ALC of this and i loved being able to hear the characters. i feel like there is a different experience when listening to it. i loved how romanctic noah was. it really was a nice surprise considering he is such a playboy. i loved how they started out as housemates and then rory’s brother asked him to watch out for her. rory was such a relatable character and it was easy to fall in love with her. they shared a lot of little moments that lead to them finding love. i loved seeing the character growth and i really enjoyed seeing them navigate their own issues and helping each other by supporting one another. this was a cute and fun story to listen to! i definitely recommend if you like hockey and college aged romance!

Absolutely loved this one!

Stella Hunter was a new narrator to me and I enjoyed her a lot in this audiobook and Teddy Hamilton is there any question if he’d nail it as the male narrator? I absolutely enjoyed the narration of this audiobook.

This was my first LA Cotton book and I’m hooked. I loved how this story played out. From the beginning when you winced every time Noah opened his mouth to the stolen moments Noah and Aurora to when they finally figured everything out.

From the beginning I wondered how this would play out. Aurora’s brother Austin had to beg his roommates to let Aurora to move in when she was in a pinch. Noah stuck his foot in his mouth more than once which made me keep wondering come on how are you going to get Aurora when you say those things. But when push came to shove and he started getting protective of her I knew it was game on.

Noah was a player on and off the ice and Aurora had a few things in her past that negatively affected her and made things like having chemistry with a hockey player who has puck bunnies hanging on him something she doesn’t think is wise. These two both had things happen in their past that they had to mentally fight through to figure out how they can be together and be happy.

One scene that solidified me being an L.A. Cotton fan was when Noah came on Aurora and wrote his name in the cum to mark her🔥 why yes being territorial is quite the way to make me a fan.

One trigger I do want to mention is disordered eating

Duet Narration is everything!

Duet Narration >>>>

I enjoyed listening to this story so much! Noah had the transformation I am a sucker for. He went from the hot, playboy hockey player to the swoony hero you can’t help but love. Rory has just as amazing character development with some pretty tough things she had to deal with. These sensitive topics were handled very well and in the right way for both of these characters.

Noah and Rory’s banter had me chuckling to myself while listening. Their chemistry was addicting and I loved watching them grow together and fall in love.

I have fallen in love with this whole cast of characters and I can’t wait for the next book!

The duet narration was absolutely fantastic in this story and they brought the characters to life in the perfect way!

Grateful to have received a complimentary copy to honestly review.

Noah + Aurora, y’all! 🤍

I heart hockey rom, y’all. throw in some angsty new adult forbidden feels and I’m a goner!

Noah and Aurora are no strangers. in fact, he’s her brother’s teammate, right winger for Lakeshore U, and completely off-limits. this wouldn’t seem like a problem since they’re polar opposite—him with his chiseled abs and playboy ways, her with her generous curves and bookish quirks. but when Aurora is forced to dorm with her brother…and Noah (!!)…tension and attraction tumble into feelings and connection that neither can deny. this one is filled with all the new adult sports rom vibes we love! but also has depth and heart with Aurora’s deep rooted struggles with body image.

it was an absolute delight to read this story with my ears! Teddy Hamilton was a d r e a m and the duet style narration was perfection! 10/10 for all the audio goodness.

You’ve got to read this!

Another hockey romance is in the books! This is my first time ever reading something by this author and I had no clue what to expect but I’m already dying to read more. Noah and Aurora won a little piece of my heart. I absolutely loved the banter between these two from beginning to end. The connection and chemistry that they have was so wonderful to watch blossom. Noah is your typically playboy hockey player who’s oh so dreamy! I mean what else can we ask for?! And sweet Aurora. I found Aurora so easy to identify with. She’s unbelievably kind, funny, and has a huge loving heart. I loved watching her confidence finally break free. This book was so easy to get into and I really want to read more books in this series, like right now. This group of friends is so much fun to get to know. I had the pleasure of being able to listen to this audiobook and I LOVE being able to listen to a book on audio. For me, it makes the reading experience, somehow even better. But obviously depends on who is narrating the book. Stella Hunter and Teddy Hamilton did such a wonderful job bringing these characters to life. I’ve listened to Stella Hunter narrate another book before and I just love her voice.Teddy Hamilton will forever be a favorite of mine, his voice is unlike anyone else, and is so comforting to hear.
