I had one of these bags before the airline lost it. Then I bought another brand of the same design. Then the airline lost that one too! I went back to this Vetelli bag and have been so impressed with the quality that I had to sit down and write a review (I don't often do this). By comparison with the replacement bag, when I went back to the Vetelli I immediately noticed a higher, thicker grade of canvas that Vetelli uses. They use high-quality, non-corrosive zippers that smoothly glide closed without having to fight with them. The pockets are large, and the leather covering is real. I would no longer settle for any other bag than this one. Great job Vitelli -- the quality level you have put into the details is definitely worth it! May your business continue to grow as a result!

Was Not Sure What to Expect

I received my travel kit this week. Delivery was a day late but not really a big concern. Online, the product looked much nicer than it is in person. My reason for ordering it was it looked nice and seemed like it would be functional for travel. I am not saying anything negative about the bag but it just does not seem as nice as it appeared online.

It seems to fold up nicely and there are of various pockets on it. It has a hanger which allow you to hang it up in the bathroom or on a door knob. There are no clear compartments so it is matter of deciding where you want something to go and looking for it. From that standpoint it is like other bags but with four pockets it is hard for me to organize. With a traditional bag you can just open it and see everything.

The outside leather if fine and it seems to be well made. The interior is a sort of canvas that I was not expecting for a high end bag. It almost feels like I am going through a my garage to get my toiletries.

Lots of glitz but it really was not what I expected. With plastic, you at least know what you are getting.

Quality at a great price

The attention to detail on this product exceeds all my expectations. Let me walk you through the process of unwrapping it and you will get a sense of why I am so impressed.

This toiletry bag comes in a large ziploc bag to protect it. The ziploc bag has a hole punched in it so it is not a choking hazard. The toiletry bag is also in a thin protective fabric bag with a pull string closure which you could use to protect the bag while it is not being used.

Once you take the toiletry bag out of the fabric bag, you see that the buckles, hook, and zippers are all individually wrapped in tissue paper. All the metal work is protected by tissue paper. Vetelli has made an extraordinary effort to ensure you receive your toiletry bag in perfect condition.

When you remove the tissue paper you see the workmanship on the bag is perfect. The stitches are correctly aligned, none are missing, no stitches are loose. The bag looks much more expensive than it actually is - some people have compared them to toiletry bags on other sites that cost three times as much.

When you undo the buckles and unroll the bag you can see the quality workmanship continues inside. Instead of all leather, we have canvas with leather highlights. There are two full width zippered compartments at the top and in the middle. The zippers are heavy-duty metal and glide smoothly. They are embedded into leather inserts for maximum strength. Underneath there are two half-width pockets side by side that use pop fasteners. These fasteners are also heavy-duty metal. Each of the pockets is gusseted so you can really put a lot into them. The zippered pockets are about 1.5" x 4.5" x 11". That calculates out to well over 200 cubic inches of storage in total.

Even when the bag is fully loaded the leather straps are long enough to close it securely.

I only have one criticism and that is simply that the bag's hook assumes the door already has a coat hook on it. I would recommend buying an "over the door hook" too (right here on Amazon), especially if, like me, you also bought one for the wife. We don't need to be fighting over a single coat hook.

I bought this item as a birthday gift for a friend. I was a little worried about the stitching but I feel I might have been overthinking this. Overall this seems to be well made and my friend was extremely happy to get this as he travels a good bit.
