I really enjoyed Griffin and Meadow’s story. They were both likable and had tons of fun banter and chemistry. I enjoyed the push and pull as they fought each other while being drawn towards each other. The story touched on some sensitive subjects, but did it respectfully and in a way that did not weigh the story down with the heaviness that often comes with such topics. A fun, entertaining read, overall, with a surprise twist at the end that has me looking forward to book two.

Whoa. So this is book one in Alina's newest , - Phoenician Heat series and it's a freaaaaking RIDE. I honestly wasn't sure what I was expecting but I definitely enjoyed it. The book had everything you could want, a little suspense, some heavy subjects, fun banter, and all the family and friends shenanigans. You're going to be hooked when you pick this baby up! Griffin and Meadow were so much fun to see how they played out with their constant back and forth.

I absolutely loved this book! It was fun and sweet! I love the suspense too! I think Meadow and Griffin were adorable! It took a minute, but they were unstoppable in the end. Perfect match. The characters complimented each other with their strengths and weaknesses. I am very excited to see what happens in the next book!
