Anders is looking forward to his assignment to rescue and protect a woman whom he has met previously but at that time she was engaged and now she is not. He loves the wilderness and has agreed to bring her home safely to her dad. Just getting her down the mountain is difficult enough as they dodge bullets but returning her to family is another challenge. Then there are the connections to the past. It's all mixed with complications, suspense, romance, love, honor etc.. All in all, another winner which I will happily read again! Wow! Thank you Dale Mayer. I am not a fan of second chances, but this was more an intense meet on the second round. It really picked up when Angel and Anders are in Europe, at "Carlo's" house. Man Angel you are one feisty women, you go girl! Suspense, some heated sex towards the end. I was able to indulge in the story and then the sex came as the cherry on top. It did not detract from the plot line, which really really was a plus. I voluntarily leave this review, all thoughts an opinions are my own and unsolicited.

This book had everything that I liked in a Dale Mayer book. Anders a member of the Legendary Security team is assigned to go to Switzerland to retrieve Angelica and take her to her father’s home for her safety. To do this, Anders and his team had to use the skills they learned in special ops to protect Angelica and her team of glaciologists. This book had everything that I expect in a Heroes for Hire book danger, action, and romance. If that wasn’t enough, I loved the final twist at the end. Once I started reading this book, I couldn’t put it down. I finished it in one sitting and even read it a second time. I was a little disappointed in Dale Maye’s previous book, but she more than made up for it, this book was great! I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
