Heartwarming
I have fallen in love with Ms Mayer’s Hathaway House series and Jaden and Breanna’s story is no exception. With Jaden receiving rehab and Breanna getting over a failed relationship the slow and steady learning to trust another person makes my heart smile . Another job well done and looking forward to Keith’s story next .

This was such a sweet touching story. It was very easy to read and the plot flowed nicely. Jaden is a combat wounded veteran and Brianna is an emotionally wounded nurse. Brianna's ex-fiance and her best friend had an affair and broke the news to her shortly before she was due to walk down the aisle.
This story shows how two damaged people can over come their mental and/or physical wounds and find happiness. I adored the dual POV format. It really helped to show Brianna's journey to happiness and the whys of some of her actions.
This is a sweet, clean romance that should not offend anyone.
Jaden: A Hathaway Healing Through and Through
This book is a standalone romance, along the lines of classic stories and gentle romance, a story for all the ages. A wounded warrior, a SEAL trying to find and strengthen and adjust to his new world. He finds Hathaway House and meets a nurse who has her own wounds. Together they find their individual journeys of healing. The characters, many found from earlier books in the series, are warm and caring. Hathaway House, its staff and its animals (yes, the animals help in the healing) create possibilities. Bravo! I am a long fan of Dale Mayers and the Hathaway Healing House.
