This is the second book I have read by this author and even though they aren't too bad, they could be a lot better. There are a lot of writing errors and it felt rushed. I had to reread paragraphs to try and understand what was happening. It was like she jumped from one thing to the next. The people were speeding in a vehicle then the next sentence they were walking. There should be more detail. Just my opinion of course. I don't think I'll read anymore of the older books, but, I may try one of her newer ones to see if her writing has improved.

Another exciting story by Dale Mayer, Hawk goes home for some R&R but instead finds himself in the middle of murder and a terrorist plot. Mia is the kind of girl that the SEALs seem most attracted to, namely feisty and self-sufficient. Almost immediately upon arriving in town, Hawk has to go after Mia to rescue her and her father when the first of multiple kidnappings takes place. I did wonder how it would be possible for any woman to survive the repeated beatings that Mia experienced and that was very off-putting for me. The team of SEAL brothers work together on finding Mia and at the same time neutralising the threats. There were a few loose ends that left me with questions, for instance who did the knife belong to and did they really get the bad guy in the end? There were also a few odd statements, eg "she squeezed her eyes shut while she watched him." Otherwise this was a well written and action packed story. I read Hawk as part of a box set "SEAL's of Honor: Books 1-3".

Another AWESOME book by Dale Mayer, l have become ADDICTED to This Series! I can't wait to see who will be the next SEAL to Fall lol l couldn't recommend this Author and This Series more Hignly. It's ALL there: Romance, Action, Adventure and SO MUCH MORE. If you don't read another Book/ Series this Year do yourself a favour and Start with Dale Mayer's Books! You Won't Regret it!
