This was a great read with plenty of action, attraction and mystery topped off with some adorable grandparents and a baby means you can't ask for more. This one has a different feel to it as we learn about Kona much sooner and she is very much the star of the book. Trying to work out who is after Jessica and the reason behind it leads you on a twisted trial with plenty of twists, bad guys and worry that maybe just this once all may not end well. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Greyson is looking into the mystery surrounding Kona, a missing retired war dog. He meets Jessica who is convinced she is being stalked by her ex-husband. A fantastic mystery with a twist worthy of the twilight zone, and of course some romance. Kona won a little piece of my heart. Another book by Dale Mayer that you can't put down until you've finished.

Greyson is sent to Hawaii to find a missing K 9.. His search not only brings him to in touch with his grandparents who raised him but a young single mother with an 18 month old son. The missing K 9 has taken up the job of protecting them. Someone is threatening them and it's a race to find out who. A great mystery, great characters and a great story.
