If we ignore the fact that this is about these god awful men from this series, this book would have a solid 3.5 stars.

I however won't forget.

“Nothing else matters,” “Only you. And me.”

I loved this super sweet finale to this series. Jake and Hannah are finally getting married and we get to catch up with the entire gang. I mean every single person shows up in this story and it’s just so nice to be in this Callahan/College Years world. I love all of these characters and this ending was bittersweet, but also awesome. Plus, Monica gave us some surprising appearances and also left us with some good stuff to look forward to, but if you want to know what it is you better read.

*this book won’t make sense unless you’ve read The Callahans and the College Years series. It’s essentially an extended epilogue/wedding novella.

So excited to finally get to read about Jake and Hannah’s wedding. These two have been together awhile, and it is so wonderful to see them get the wedding of their dreams. The plans have gotten out of control for their small family wedding. Jake suggests ditching everything and getting married in Hawaii. Loved catching up with all the characters in this series and seeing how their lives have changed over the years. So sad to see these stories finished, but very happy with how everyone is living their best lives. I absolutely loved everything about this story.

A Callahan Wedding is a book for the readers. For the readers that have loved the amazing Callahans and have followed them and all their ups and downs through the years. It's for the readers that couldn't let go and followed them to college and met their friends. It's a love letter to each and every character that we fell in love with and wanted more of.

Jake and Hannah are all set to get married, but when their guest list keeps growing into something more than they wanted, Jake makes a suggestion that Hannah soon gets on board with. Jake and Hannah still get everything they want, just on a much smaller scale. But luckily for us readers, we get to see and/or hear from each of our couples and that's what made this Wedding novella so sweet, outrageous and pure fun. From where it all began with Drew and Fable to Ash and Autumn, Levi and Ava, Beck and Addie, Tony and Hayden, Jackson and Ellie, Caleb and Gracie and even some other friends and family you've seen through the books, this was a great ending to this group of characters and their family and friends that became family. It was like the cherry and whip cream on top. These group of characters are special and I'm glad we got one last hurrah with them.

A CALLAHAN WEDDING is the seventh and (final ?) instalment in Monica Murphy’s contemporary, adult THE CALLAHANS erotic, romance series -a spin off from the author’s ONE WEEK GIRLFRIEND series. Although focusing on the upcoming wedding of Jake Callahan and Hannah Walsh, we are also up close and personal with several of the couple from the author’s THE COLLEGE YEARS series, where we are witness to the lives and loves of Jake and Hannah’s high school and college friends.

Told from several first person perspectives including Jake and Hannah A CALLAHAN WEDDING follows Jake and Hannah as they make preparations for their upcoming wedding, a wedding that has exploded beyond their control. In the hopes of reigning in the madness, our couple opt for a destination wedding in Maui, a wedding with their closest friends and family.

A CALLAHAN WEDDING pulls the reader back into the lives of the couples we met in the author’s three interconnected series. We watch as friendships bloom, families grow, and the next generation of Callahans and Bennetts take their place on the field. Fable Callahan’s brother Owen Maguire (first introduced in the original ONE WEEK GIRLFRIEND series) returns with his family-the author has plans for another spin off series focusing on Owen’s now adult children. Owen’s son Knox’s story will be released in November 2022.

A CALLAHAN WEDDING is an emotional and heart warming novella with no angst or conflict, just happiness and peace. The premise is captivating; the characters are familiar and charismatic; the romance is passionate.

In the seventh and final book in this series, wedding bells are finally ringing for Jake and Hannah. But the planning isn’t going well, and Hannah is exhausted and stressed. Jake suggests a destination “elopement” to Hawaii with friends and family only.

A terrific novella with updates on all the couples we’ve met along the way in The Callahan Series. Beloved and delightful characters to fall in love with all over again. Everything readers could want in a wrap-up in a favorite sports-related romance series.

Saying good-bye to Drew and Fable, their family and friends is bittersweet. But a little comfort may come with Monica Murphy’s plans for Fable’s brother, Owen McGuire, and his family in a new spin-off series with the first book due out in November 2022. The main character will be his son, Knox, and hopefully readers will get glimpses of the Callahan clan from time to time in this new series.

Farewell to one of the best sports-related series I've read and all the characters who made the books extra-special!

Oh my heart- I don't think there is a fictional family I could love more than the Callahans! And what a perfect finale to this crew I love so dearly. A Callahan Wedding is a heartfelt, humorous, and tender love letter to these endearing characters and their stories that captured us. Monica Murphy delivers a story that perfect balances fond nostalgia with full circle closure. This loving farewell captures everything that I love about this series- the swoony feelings, the lovable found family dynamic, the charming chemistry, and all the fun antics. What a fulfilling and fun last hurrah with the family that will always own my heart!

While the focus of this story is on Jake and Hannah and their pending nuptials, Monica gives us sweet, nostalgic, funny, and sexy moments with the entire gang- thanks in part to a narrative many POVs. The cornucopia of voices is a welcome treat- a fond farewell to the characters' whose stories we've lived, and a sweet and fulfilling chance to catch up with most of them in their HEA bliss. We even get some great moments with our first generation Drew and Fable- one that brought me to happy tears by how touching it is. But even with the variety of characters popping into the story, we still have plenty of focus on the wedding - and this finale made me love Jake and Hannah even more. They shine so brightly- even amidst some of the siblings that have been my favorites.

What I loved most about this finale wasn't just the nostalgic treats, but how Monica perfectly ages these characters. We loved them as teens, now as full fledged adults, many of them parents, all of them professionals (minus Beck), we get a glimpse into how they've matured...yet stayed wholly themselves. Eli in particular is a treat- still full of himself, still playful, but perhaps bit wiser. But best of all, we've get to see how the relationships have evolved. The girl gang is tighter than ever, the guys who were once mortal enemies now have a playful frenemy vibe, and the couples have found balance and longevity without losing the passion, spark, or the unique chemistry flair that made each of them capture our hearts. We get all the swoony, all the sexy, but most of all, we get a lot of camaraderie and fun. If only I could play around with this group forever, but for now I'll be content that they've all found their HEA, their path, and most importantly- they've all found themselves. The crew has finally grown up- and like a empty nest mama, I'm equal parts proud and emotional. I hope Monica finds her way back to this world- they'll always own my heart.

I was given an advance readers copy of this book and have decided to write a voluntary honest review. This book was perfect for the ending of this series. I I've watched these couples grow up before my eyes. A Callahan wedding brought the tears, but ugly tears the happy kind. God I love these characters so much! Jake will always be my favorite along with Ash, Eli and Caleb. Ava, Gracie, and autumn. God I'm sad to see the end but so excited for the next generation.

What a perfect ending to this series! We got just a little bit of everything and everyone and I couldn't be more happy about that, especially Eli. I loved hearing about all the little ones and the life updates. Hannah and Jake made the right choice to elope! It's always the right move. I felt so bad when I was reading about her stressing about wedding planning. I am so glad they made the choice to have a fun filled family and friends wedding.

A Callahan Wedding was like coming home again and seeing my entire family altogether.

This book is for those who have read about the Callahan's over the years. But it's also for readers like me who have not read every single book but are just invested in this family. If you have not read any of the previous books in this series, this book probably won't be best for you.

This story is told from multiple POV's and gives readers a glimpse where each of these characters are in life currently. You get to see Hannah and Jake go through their preparations for their upcoming wedding and how everyone is intertwined in his family.

A Callahan Wedding is a heartwarming read and gives readers the ending we've all wanted for this family. Be ready for lots of emotions and a phenomenal story.

Jake and Hannah ♥

What a sweet ending to an amazing series. I love that all the gang are together for Jake and Hannah's wedding and reading each pov from them brings back why I love this series.

So many memories and an ending I don't want to see ending but (tbh I wished it ended on Jake's pov) but, I'm so curious about Sophie and why Tony was never mentioned a lot.

I couldn’t wait to read A Callahan Wedding but I was also dreading it. Why?
Because every time I closed a book linked to this family my heart couldn’t cope… Monica Murphy created a world , a family where we as readers feel we belong to. I love them all!

This book is perfect. I couldn't love it more.
Jake and Hannah’s wedding was the cherry on the cake- A Callahan wedding is a romance lover’s dream of a book.

Such a beautiful read!!!! It was so amazing catching up with those gang and so sad to see it end. Loved it from beginning to end and got teary eyed in between; especially the epilogue. It was great getting updates on everyone and seeing their growth and watching how they reminisce on the old days. The author hit a homerun with the way she wrapped up this group; it was incredible and I’m not going to spoil it. Grab some tissues while reading this.

“I knew back then, when we were only eighteen years old and he was my first love, that he would be my only love.”

I love the Callahans, so I was excited to get some content from them one last time, especially for Hannah and Jake's wedding! They are one of my favorite Monica Murphy couples, and I was not disappointed. A Callahan Wedding was the sweetest, most perfect conclusion to The Callahans and the College Years series. Most of the characters had their POV, which was great, but I loved that the focus remained on Hannah and Jake because I was dying for more crumbs about them. It was also incredible to see all the characters together. They have such a strong connection and reading it one more time made me so happy from beginning to end.

Also, the epilogue was so cute, and I'm going to miss those characters a lot! I'm glad MM decided to stay in this universe by writing Fable's brother's kids' story, and I hope she writes Kenzie's book soon because she sounds like an intriguing character.

This was an amazing conclusion to the family that we have known and loved. Even though I’m sad to see them go monica have us pieces of them and conclusions that we definitely needed.

This story was told in multiple POV’s, which was an amazing narrative decision. We got to see where other characters throughout the whole Callahan and College years series are today.

This was a really fun and sweet novella. It low angst and some laugh out loud moments, one of involving the day after a party. Definitely recommend reading this if you’ve loved these series as I have, or just when you need a pick me up read, because this one will have you smiling.

A Callahan Wedding is the seventh book from Monica Murphy’s The Callahans series. This novella is the final ending to the series with being told through multiple POVs.

Having only read Beck and Addie’s story Making Her Mine from The Callahan series, surprisingly it wasn’t too hard for me to keep up with what was going on within the narrative. Especially considering how many characters there were, on top of all the perspectives the storyline was told through.
Although the main part of the story revolved around Hannah Walsh and Jake Callahan, since it was about their wedding planning. All the other characters from throughout the series still gave you an update on their lives, whilst sharing their love for their friends whose wedding they were there to attend.

Despite being a novella, Monica was able to fit everything that you would come to love and expect when it comes to the planning of a wedding. Especially when it involves the Callahan’s and their friends for all those who read the complete series.
From the drama with the planning to some tension given the stress of the pressure Hannah was feeling. Plus the light, sweet and romantic moments from the love shared between each of the couples as well as their friendships. On top of the some Steamy moments. This book gave you many feels, given the outpour of emotions. But then again since it was a wedding that was to be expected, tugging on your strings controlling your emotional side.

All in all, A Callahan Wedding was an enjoyable read, bringing together a great combination of a light, fun, cute, sweet romance within this novella by Monica Murphy. Ultimately giving you a lot of feels throughout.
Can’t wait to read Knox Maguire and Joanna’s story Playing Hard to Get next in Monica’s newest spin off Maguire series.

“You’re the most important thing to me, Hannah. Above everything else in my life. The rest of it could disappear, and I’d still be happy because I had you by my side. If you’re not with me, then I don’t know how to go on living.”

You guys!! This Novella was EVERYTHING!! It was the perfect conclusion to the Callahan’s and the College Years. This Novella is focused on Jake and Hannah’s wedding but we also get chapters with different POV from our favorite characters. The way I was able to just pick up this book and begin reading with no struggle, is just what I love about Monica’s books.

This novella gives us insights into the lives of our favorite couples and learn what they're up to now. The banter between the guys had me laughing and I absolutely loved the way the girls have all become close friends. When I got to my mans, Eli’s chapter, I couldn’t stop smiling and laughing! 😂 I knew he’d be up to no good but this time it wasnt that bad, just Eli being Eli 😂 This was short and just perfect.
Thank you so much Monica for Providing me with an advance copy.

Oh Ms. Murphy, you left me in a heap of tears with A Callahan Wedding. I cheered so hard for this group of friends that I will have such a hard time letting go. I grew so fond of all these kids from start to finish from all their ups and downs to how they all started to how they finished and it was such a bittersweet ending to this fabulous wedding bliss for Jake and Hannah.

I thought this was a great series, we got to meet many, many characters and they intertwined with each other one way or another, whether they were a Callahan or a friend of a Callahan but either way it was intertwined with the Callahan family.

I have read each and every book in this series and loved every single one of them. This was certainly a great wedding which we got to also read some of the other characters from previous books and it was such a great way to end a great series!

When I tell you that I don’t want this series or anything related to the Callahan family to end…I DON’T WANT IT TO END! This family is the OG of the romance world and my love for them is endless. A Callahan Wedding is simply wonderful, Jake and Hannah have the wedding they deserve and everything ends on such a beautiful note. I love that Monica Murphy gives the characters from the previous books a time to shine as well as giving us an opportunity to catch up on their lives.

Dear Callahans and the extended family, you’re amazing, I adore you and you will always hold a special place in my heart. Drew and Fable started it all and they’re the true MVPs. Thank you Monica Murphy for creating one of the best families of all time. And my heart is exploding knowing there’s more goodness to come. “There is no other love like a Callahan love.”

Thank you, Monica Murphy, for this wonderful novella for the Callahan family and their friends. Getting to escape into Jake and Hannah’s wedding which brings everyone that I’ve come to love together is perfect to me. The multiple points of view are an excellent touch, allowing us to really understand and know how many of the cast have moved from college to adulthood. So much fun as many are parents now and how they handle their children. Truly a gem. I’ve been a fan of this family from the first mention of marshmallow, still one of my all-time favorite moments in a couple’s journey. I voluntarily read an ARC of this book and this is my honest review.

So many times I read and fall in love with so many characters. But they have nothing on the Callahans and everyone in their life. It was nice to be back with Jake and Hannah. There’s just something about Hannah that I’ve always loved. She’s low maintenance and the perfect girl for Jake. Such a lucky man! It was also amazing being back with our beloved characters.

Always happy to see my boy Eli haha! He’s been my favorite since he was first introduced. I’m glad Hannah and Jake decided to get married the way they did. It fit them perfectly. Overall, this was a fast, sweet read. I will forever read books with the Callahans!

Not ready for it to end

I can't believe this is the last book in this series. Even though Beck already had his book, he and Addie still need another one. Matter of fact, they all need another book. After many years together, Jake and Hannah finally tie the knot. After all the stress they went through with planning, they ended up having one better than what they could have planned. This book had several different povs from past favorites. There was a surprise at the wedding and it seemed like both Ava and Autumn are pregnant but it was never confirmed. I am looking forward to reading Owen's side of the family stories.

The plans that Jake and Hannah have been making for the wedding of their dreams is turning into a social extravaganza that neither wants. All the stress is marring what should be the happiest day of their life but rather than bow to the expectations of others they decide to take back control and celebrate their love in an intimate ceremony with those who have always been there for them.

This novella was everything as not only do we get to experience the enduring love that Jake and Hannah share, but we get to catch up with all the other characters who have captured our hearts and see the surprises that life has brought them as well as romance, love and family combine.

Jake and Hannah have decided to forego the wedding they were planning and do a destination one instead. This book had POV's from pretty much everyone who was mentioned in it. It was a nice look at their lives now. We get a look at the bachelor and bachelorette parties. We also get to see Jake finally becoming a compassionate and caring man instead of the arrogant and volatile teenager he was. Hannah was still stuck in her head a lot and seemed to want everything at once. It was interesting to see how she embraced everyone around her now. Overall it was a quick, easy and good read.
