Fantastic case with tons of room
13900k with a 4090 build. Downgraded from a 5000T to this 6500X. The 5000T is almost double the price (5000T comes with a commander XT for fans/rgb) and has some nicer features, but I prefer the 6500X. I couldn't vertical mount the gpu in the 5000T.Tons of space to work with. The mount for the 3 vertical fans on the right side can be used in two positions. As you can see in my picture, I have it more forward which I think looks better than the rear position. Appreciate the white case cables. Previous white corsair cases did not have white case cables so this is nice.If I had to nitpick I would have liked some more tie down points for cable management, but zip ties and some velcro ties solved all those issues. I guess the top panel could be removable for easier radiator and fan mounting, but I installed those before the motherboard, so didn't have any issues. Also didn't come with a physical instruction manual and instead a QR code to an online one. Great to save the paper, but some might not like that.In general, I prefer to install parts in this order: Fans/radiator, motherboard with cpu and ram installed, power supply, gpu after all other cables are installed.Corsair vertical bracket was out of stock so used the coolermaster and it works perfectly.

I'm not a gamer. I'm a 62 year old father of two daughters who recently got married and have lots of pictures/video clips of their weddings and wanted me to put them all together into one comprehensive video so I built my second computer ever and chose this case because it looked like it would be easy be to get in and Fiddle around with components if needed. My only complaint is that it's a lot deeper than I thought it would be and it barely fits on my desk but I do like all that space and the colored fan lights make me feel like I'm about 12 years old again but when I was 12 computers were just a thing that people mentioned here and there but no one thought we would be alive when computers became the norm. Nor were we sure what we would or could do with a computer. It's very solid. And the glass wall is cool to look through. I should also mention that I do like to game at times and enjoy first person shooters and Splinter cell. Pretty fly for an old guy. Put Quadro 4000 video card in there and can't hear any sounds at all and a 9th Gen intel processor. Making videos has gotten a lot easier now especially for one daughter who has about 2000 images to deal with.

I love the airflow line of cases from Corsair, I have a few PCs one built inside a 7000D and another inside the 4000D. When the 6500D came out I decided to build a PC in it and it's a great case. Easy to build in, love the swing open glass panel, and the airflow is excellent.

I guess the top panel could be removable for easier radiator and fan mounting, but I installed those before the motherboard, so didn't have any issues. Also didn't come with a physical instruction manual and instead a QR code to an online one. Great to save the paper, but some might not like that.

In general, I prefer to install parts in this order: Fans/radiator, motherboard with cpu and ram installed, power supply, gpu after all other cables are installed.

Corsair vertical bracket was out of stock so used the coolermaster and it works perfectly.

13900k with a 4090 build. Downgraded from a 5000T to this 6500X. The 5000T is almost double the price (5000T comes with a commander XT for fans/rgb) and has some nicer features, but I prefer the 6500X. I couldn't vertical mount the gpu in the 5000T.

Tons of space to work with. The mount for the 3 vertical fans on the right side can be used in two positions. As you can see in my picture, I have it more forward which I think looks better than the rear position. Appreciate the white case cables. Previous white corsair cases did not have white case cables so this is nice.

If I had to nitpick I would have liked some more tie down points for cable management, but zip ties and some velcro ties solved all those issues. For the most part, PC cases are usually pretty typical and standard, with the same look and feel and it's boring

I've been through a lot of different cases, and my favorite for a while was the Thermaltake Tower 900, but that thing is honestly monstrously large and heavy af lol I wanted a big case with lots of room and that one was honestly TOO big lol

Now with the Crystal Series 680x, it's a great unique design with lots of room, probably the perfect size. You can store a lot of hard drives and there's lots of room for customization. I love the airflow and everything.

Notes: The 2-chamber design is pretty cool and something I really appreciate. I use a lot of external storage so this is not a problem for me, but users have reported that the 2nd chamber whete the PSU goes doesn't have great airflow. It's not a problem for me, but I thought I'd mention. Also, I'd say more than 50% of cases on the market come with 5.25 bays for DVD drives and this one does not. I still actively burn CD's and DVD's for several reasons, so if you choose this case, you will need an external disc drive if that is important to you.

Overall, fantastic case, perfect size with great airflow, great features and a magnetic door for easy access. 10/10 best case I've ever used

This is the best PC case I've ever bought, I love that it can use 13 fans. It's beautiful. No complaints.
Plenty of room for water cooling, or if you prefer air; like I said; 13 fans. Can't go wrong.
It's a beast. It's heavy, roughly 40/50 pounds) with everything installed. I could only imagine how heavy it would be with three 360 radiators. lol. Either way, one day I will have maxed out my water cooling potential. But for now, I have one 360 radiator mounted on the top. Case has a lot of space. Can hold two 3.5 hard drives and two 2.5 hard drives. Total of 4 older drives, not including the nvme drives in your motherboard.
It also is compatible with reverse motherboards so you can hide your cords in the back easier.
Comes with all kinds of screws that you may need in a box in the harddrive area so be sure to check it out it's in a plastic box waiting in the hard drive insert.

I will update this in a few months to see how I still feel about it.

Tiene algunos inconvenientes que desde mi punto de vista se pudieron evitar
- Está diseñado para ventiladores de 140, con los de 120 se ve raro, a excepción de los laterales esos si solo son de espacio 120
- Dejan un espacio considerable entre la base y la MB, por lo que los cables quedan muy visibles y poco estético
- Se debe contar con una base para la gráfica bastante alta, teniendo en cuenta que puede haber ventiladores en la parte inferior también se debe considerar que se pueda colocar sin obstruir el flujo de aire
- Ya no cuenta con la guía de cables, se vende por separado
- Tiene 4 puertos usb al frente divididos en 2 cables, se debe considerar en la MB

Puntos buenos a considerar:
- Está preparado para las MB con cables ocultos
- Los cables del botón de encendido, Led del botón y reset ahora están gestionados a un solo conector por lo que se facilita la conexión, si la MB no es compatible con la configuración trae una extensión con lo cables originales
- El cable anterior mencionado, los de usb y audio son blancos
- Incluyen nuevos tornillos blancos para ventiladores

En dimensiones es similar a un serie 5000, por lo que se observa un espacio muy desproporcionado o quizás esté diseñado para una refrigeración custom......

El gabinete es una bestia en cuanto a manejo de dispositivos, cables, espacio para PSU, y flujo de aire, aparte de que estéticamente luce muy muy bonito, SIN EMBARGO, si utilizas una GPU robusta o larga, quizá debas considerar otra opción, el máximo de longitud que permite en estado horizontal es de 32 cm, se nota en la foto, tengo una 3060 y está casi rozando con el ventilador frontal, incluye espacio para soporte vertical de GPU, este te da quizá uno o dos centímetros más de espacio. Otra cuestión es que el soporte superior para el enfriamiento líquido, en caso de que utilices uno de 280mm cómo es mi caso, solo podrás poner 6 de los 8 tornillos del soporte, aún con usar dos tornillos menos el soporte es el adecuado y no hay ningún problema de inestabilidad o ruido no deseado. Es un gabinete hermoso. Corsair debería actualizar o sacar una versión mejor.
