Easy to Install

Take out the light fixture from the box.
Open a mounting hole in your ceiling according to the size we provided.
Cut off electicity, connect the fixture wire to supply power: red wire to positive(+); black wire to negative(-)
Attach the light fixture into the mounting hole and close with 2 springs.

Used these in my motorhome. They look nice and seat flat and close to the ceiling. They are bright enough for my use. I would of preferred the color to be more of a really bright white, these are not. The color of the light output is good enough just not what I was wanting. The wife is happy with them so that's all that matters anyways. I used a 3 1/2 inch hole saw for the hole to mount them in. Could of gotten away with a little smaller hole saw but fit was fine. Hook up is simple, red to positive and black to ground. In my winnebago the yellow wire is positive and the white wire is negative. The springs are really strong. They look really nice and modern looking. Big improvement over the lights from years gone by.

I installed a new mirror cabinet in my 5th wheel's bathrooms. It was tall, so I had to snug it up almost to the ceiling. Unfortunately, it's doors would not open with the old dome light. So I ordered these to be more flush, and it extends on about a millimeter below the ceiling, so now the mirror cabinet doors open. It's not as hot, gives better and more light than the stupid dome lights that come with most RV's. Definitely a good purchase. I had to enlatge the hole in the ceiling a little, so that might be your most difficult task.
