Executing technical, short and long-range shots requires a versatile riflescope with rock-solid quality. Strike Eagle riflescopes boast powerful features in a trim, lightweight and durable package making them ideal for shooters. The low end of their zoom range intrinsically adapts to a wide range of scenarios, letting shooters engage targets from point-blank out to extended ranges. The incredibly versatile 6x zoom range lets shooters engage targets from intermediate, to extended ranges, and is perfectly suited for an extremely wide range of applications . In any application, the Strike Eagle ensures accurate, reliable and repeatable performance.

reticle

BDC MOA Reticle

  • The illuminated, glass-etched BDC reticle subtends with popular 5.56 mm cartridges, and the centered halo promotes fast target acquisition.
  • Second focal plane (SFP) reticles are located near the scope’s eyepiece behind the image erecting and magnifying lenses. This style of reticle does not visually change in size when you change the magnification. The advantage of an SFP reticle is that it always maintains the same appearance. Listed reticle subtensions used for estimating range, holdover, and wind drift correction are only accurate at one particular magnification.

This went on my SPR. Excellent budget setup. The illumination is not necessary in my opinion, since the reticle is etched in the glass. It mounted easily.

The optic was dead nuts and kept a solid zero. My only complaint is that it does not have parallax adjustment. All things considered that is not an issue. God willing the only shooting this scope will see is multigun competition, and hunting. I do imagine this would do just fine down range as it's built and designed extremely well. Pair this optic with 45 degree backup sights and your golden, although it's not needed as the optic has a true 1 power setting, which allows both eyes to remain open without significant eye strain.

Update after 2 years of use.

Just checking back in after 2 years. This scope held up and has no issues after 2 years of competitive use, and one successful white tail hunt. Worth every penny. Also there is a version with higher magnification that I am planning on getting for another rifle. For building on a budget this cannot be beat.

The Vortex Strike Eagle is an all around great variable power optic at a fantastic price. Paired with my Daniel Defense DDM4v11 Pro, I was on zero quickly and punching out sub-MOA groups my first time using it. The glass is clear and the illuminated reticule really helps draw your eye on target, especially in a somewhat dark indoor range. The optic itself was somewhat larger than I expected but I mounted it with ease and achieved proper eye relief the first go. This is my second product from Vortex and thus far I am not disappointed in the quality or value of their products. This optic really makes shooting more enjoyable because I can actually see my shots without having to move the target closer.

Currently on a RDB but will put it on other rifles, mostly hunting. Clear glass, sturdy, holds zero banging around. Its a Vortex scope. Needed a good all around scope for a few hunting and SD rifles, this one met the needs perfectly.

I don’t know what any of the fuss is about this product being a bad scope. I bought it for my KEL TEC RFB 308 Hunter. It looks great it works great. I definitely love the different setting controls for the illuminated optic. You have a nice clear field view . The only thing I don’t like is when you zoom in it’s not as clear as I would like it to be. But anything from the midrange zoom down his perfect . I’m definitely satisfied with the product and how it mounted especially for this price.

Outstanding glass. Very tough, well made, Elevation and windage adjust very well with good tactile feedback. Reticle is excellent and easy to use. Simple is best. Plus the Vortex super–fix -or-replace-even- if-your-dog-ate-it warranty for life… Which is even transferable(!).
Honestly, you won't regret this purchase. Even if you do, you can return it for full refund. For a 5.56 carbine it's a no-brainer. The mount is good too.
