Our sous vide cooker has been tested thousands of times, so that the cook can more accurately control the temperature and time, making the cooking results more accurate & more nutritious.

Why choose Sous Vide Cooking?

Flavor: Sous-vide cooking allows food to retain the original flavor and color of the food to the greatest extent.

Nutrition: Proper temperature and time control allows proteins to be retained without being destroyed and minimizes the loss of moisture from ingredients.

Taste: Proper temperature allows the freshness of the food to mingle with the aroma of the seasonings and make the taste better.

We used two fillet steaks (almost the same quality and portion) to test the different tastes of traditional iron pan frying and sous vide cooking.

The core temperature of the steak that was fried on a traditional iron pan reached 125°F, which is the best temperature for a medium steak. However, it can be seen from the cut surface that about 40% of the meat around the steak is still fried. Generally speaking, the food cooked by the traditional iron pan frying method will generally reduce the weight by 15%-20%, most of which is the water in the food, so the taste of the food will change.

The steak cooked by sous vide at the same low temperature of 125°F is heated again with a spray gun, so that the Maillard reaction occurs on the surface of the steak, and the whole steak is fully locked in the gravy. Judging from the cut surface, this steak is perfect-the inside is pink, the standard medium steak, and the surface is heated quickly at a high temperature, showing the color of the top steak. The sous vide cooking can minimize the loss of moisture from ingredients. The water loss is only between 5%-8%, which can retain the original flavor and color of the food to the greatest extent, and retain the nutrient content of the food.

So I got this sous vide for reheating brisket and other bbq, without drying them out during the reheating process. Brisket dries out quickly, so I figured this would be the best method available. So far it’s easy to control and the temps are holding pretty solid.My only concern is the clip that holds the unit in place. I would like to see this upgraded to a clamp style, as this just looks like it will break over time.Besides the one concern, so far I’m impressed.

This is the first sous vide cooker I have ever owned. It is very simple to use and works great. You set the temperature, and the timer and let the meat cook. Very easy. I checked the water temperature with a digital thermometer and found that the water temperature was about 2 degrees lower than what the sous vide said. I cooked a couple of millet mignon steaks at 120 degrees. When the time was up, I seared them in a really hot skillet with some butter. The steaks came out super tender and tasting great.

I was excited to receive this once I decided to plunge into sous vide. I used a stainless liner pot from my Insta-pot to cook an eye of round roast. It got the temp of the water up to 131 in a reasonable time and kept it there during the entire cooking period. It was extremely quiet. I have an open kichen-living area and could not hear anything from the living area.

The meat came out beautifully. This is a super viable way of cooking cheaper, less tender cuts of meat and they become wonderfully tender. Very happy with this new addition to my kitchen and meal prep equipment.

My concern, as others have stated, the clip that holds it on seems cheap. It feels like it will fail well before the heater will.
What could be better? The timer adjusts by the minute and it takes an annoying amount of time to set if you are cooking for many hours. This type of cooking doesn't need that accurate of time so it should adjust by ten-minute increments. Actually, I don't really get why it needs a timer. When the food is finished cooking, you need to be there to take it to the next step anyway. For my use, it only needs on/off and temperature adjustment.

My previous sous vide machine had wi-Fi connectivity and an app for my phone so I could monitor and control temperatures from anywhere in the world. Because, if you're like me, there's nothing you love more than setting up a meal to cook and then hopping on a plane to travel across the globe while it cooks!

Actually, scratch that. I don't do that, and neither does anyone else. Turns out, I don't actually need my sous vide cooker to connect to the internet. And I don't need to control it with an app. And I don't need to monitor impeller speeds or get automatic firmware updates in the middle of a cook.

There are two things I'm concerned with: Temperature and time.
There are two settings on this immersion cooker: Temperature and time.

That's it. That's it's job and it does it wonderfully. And, considering the price of some of the other cookers out there, what are you actually paying for? This does everything that I need it to do (and it does it well) and it doesn't do any of that silly crap that I don't actually need.

The most difficult thing about using this particular sous vide machine was changing the display to degrees Fahrenheit instead of Celsius. Press and hold the Temperature button for about 2 seconds and it will change. There you go. Mystery solved!

I've only used it a few times, but it has performed very well everytime. It's easy to use and so far appears to be well made. I did not want to afford or use wi-fi features, so this one is perfect for me. The only improvement would be a louder audible alarm when it's done cooking. It is so faint that if you're not nearby and in a fairly quiet room, it's very possible you will not hear it. Otherwise, I like everything about it.

Este producto lo he estado utilizando para un proceso de revelado fotografico C41.

Debo calentar productos quimicos a 40 °c constantes para que estos quimicos actuen en pelicula negativa.

Ha cuplido su proposito. solo que he notado que con un termometro externo las temperaturas son diferentes. para llegar a la temperatura correcta de 40°c debo agregar 2 o 3°c más para alcanzar la temperatura correcta de mi termometro externo. una vez alcanzada la tempratura el aparato la conserva perfectamente durante por lo menos 2 horas que es el tiempo maximo que yo he utilizado este producto cada vez que revelo fotos. No dudo que el aparato consiga temperaturas constantes durante mas tiempo.

Lo recomiendo, es de uso facil, controles simples pero practicos. facil de limpiar. Estoy contento con la compra.
