    3 Stars
iCUE Software is a real pain, but worth sticking with if you are looking for a great rounded mouse
First day review here. Spent a rather long time setting up than I would have liked. So let's start with the good-GOOD-the most comfortable mouse I have used. Long time g502 and g602 user here. I've been looking for a replacement for both, something with the functionality of the g602 and quality sensor of the g502. This is probably about as close as one can get. It has a wide range of functions despite the pitfalls of the iCUE software. The sensor tracks well and even in wireless mode (haven't bothered with Bluetooth) it's smooth and didn't miss a beat. Once setup (and figuring out how to get the buttons to actually work in iCUE) it's great and offers a lot of flexibility. Also note, it came with a full charge out of the box. The textures DO NOT feel cheap, quite the opposite. It's also easy to get the colors to match the keyboard or whatever if you are into that.-THE OKAY-It really needs more DPI options. The g502 has 5 settings you can adjust. It feels a little useless to have such a DPI range you can't actually use completely, but if I'm honest that's nit picking. Also, the scroll wheel won't free wheel or have left and right clicks. Again that's a nit pick, I don't care too much about those YMMV.-Really, let's talk about the bad iCUE software-I've used it for some time and expected the usual quirks about weird toggle switches but really, this was not a great experience, beyond that Corsair doesn't have (at least I couldn't find a How To, and everything else on the internet is for different mice. I had no problem figuring out how to assign buttons, it's that they wouldn't work, or would start doing something else when games were up. Really a huge oversight that Corsair needs to address asap.-Firmware updates and iCUE updates need to send promotes to the desktop! Seriously, I had to update iCUE, and had the "Macro Function is broken, please fix install of iCUE" message in the tiny corner. Turns out another update was needed, and amazingly the buttons that didn't work started working again. At least there was a fix, but I think something is still very wrong with button mapping. It should be separate from macros honestly. So for anyone coming here looking for advice on how to setup the buttons here's my advice. This should only apply to buttons you are remapping for keystrokes.1. Make sure you are completely up to date on firmware and iCUE software.2. Create an action and select the action.3. Choose which button you want to reprogram on the right side.4. BEFORE YOU DO ANYTHING ELSE. At the bottom where it says MACRO Select Advanced Settings and select "retain original key output"5. Select the MACRO drop down and select keystroke6. in the box perform which keystroke you want the button on the mouse to do7. on the Advanced tab for keystroke select retain original key output again. REMEMBER you shouldn't have to check retain key output for mouse functions (i.e. DPI changes, Back etc)This is a lot of work for something other companies do in seconds. now to my main issue..Selecting the mouse button to perform anything on the numpad didn't work at first.Selecting the mouse to perform a Function key, or any of the predefined options in the drop down (other than keystroke) doesn't work as of the time of writing this review (which has taken way too long)So stick with remapping with keystrokes for now I guess. Hopefully corsair will fix all this and I'll come back and give this thing 5 stars, because I really want to, but iCUE just sucks. But it can be worked around. I have attached some pictures of what my remap looks like and the key output options.Good luck everyone.
    Thank you for your feedback

This is the third iron claw I own. I get about 1.5 years of use out of these mice. Only issue I've run into is after 1 to 1.5 yrs time the mouse wheel goes out but it's such a good gaming mouse I just keep buying them haha would recommend this to anyone needing a good gaming mouse.

Edit: 8-12-23 have been having issues where mouse disconnects and turns off and won't respond to turn back on. I have not had this happen with the 2 ironclaws I purchased from microcenter.
Reviewed in the United States on June 27, 2019
    Size: WirelessStyle: MouseVerified Purchase
So I originally purchased the wired G502 from Logitech back in 2016 and it has been my daily driver ever since. For about 4 years I was happy with it and it performed admirably. However, with the recent release of apex legends and a desk change it has started to bother me due to two issues. Those being the drag of the cable on my new desk and the large size on my hands not sitting properly on the mouse.

So with those two issues in mind I started looking for a new mouse. I first settled on the new G502 wireless but discarded it quickly due to the premium price tag of $150 and it still being the same shape/size of the original. So I ran through a couple of other mice but didn't find anything similar to my G502 until I stumbled across this Corsair Ironclaw Wireless.

Right now at two days of use in I am loving it. The size and feel of the mice coupled with the freedom that a wireless mouse gives you has been the perfect companion for me. The button placement is perfect for the transition from my old mouse with the only difference being that the sniper button was moved from under my thumb to beside the first pad of my index finger. The three buttons at the back are in perfect reach of my thumb which allows me to continue firing while performing different actions in game such as pinging enemies or using the voice chat. The two buttons on the front left and the two in the middle are in quick reach of my index finder which allows access to my heals and quick dpi changes. As a palm grip with a large hand I can say that the shape of it fits my hand perfectly with a decent thumb rest and a nice tactile texture on the sides for gripping.

The ammount of customizability this mouse offers is awesome with its 3 rgb zones and 10 buttons. The rgb allows you to setup pretty much any effect you want and can be used to change colors based on the temperature of your system. The sensor allows you to change in increments of 1 dpi and calibrate your movement based on the surface of your pad. It offers 3 dpi settings per profile along with a 4th sniper setting that can be bound to any of the keys on the mouse itself. The mouse has an indicator on the left side which among other things is used to show which dpi/profile you are on. You can also set it two use 2 different colors for the dpi or sniper modes for each profile you have. Each of the 10 keys can be rebound to perform a myriad of tasks such as button presses, num keys, function keys, macros, script launching, or media options. Each software profile can also be linked to a program so that it changes based on what games/applications you have open.

Now for the downsides. First off after receiving my mouse I had a lot of trouble getting my dpi setup and my keys rebound within the iCUE software. The software does a very poor job at explaining how the profiles work and lacks the abilities to change certain keys when running on the hardware profiles. Coming from the Logitech software it was a very confusing experience.

My first issue I came across was with the profiles. With corsair and logitech mice you have two different sets of profiles, hardware and software. With logitech you have the option to swap between either set of profiles at any time but with corsair the profiles you are using depends on whether or not you have the iCUE software running. With iCUE running you will be forced to use the software profile, but if it is closed or not installed you will be able to run off of your hardware profiles. The hardware profiles disallows you to change certain buttons such as the profile swap buttons and it restricts certain actions to the software profiles only. You are however able to copy settings between profiles and save profiles as a file to swap between other computers.

My other issue is that certain actions are divided up into separate menus. I wanted to bind my two middle buttons to toggle dpi and toggle profile and while the profile toggle is under a section called "profile switching" the dpi toggle is under another section named "remap mouse buttons". Another thing I would enjoy coming from logitech is the accelerated scrolling you get from the free scroll mode on the scroll wheel and the left and right clicks the scroll wheel has which I use to turn up my volume.

Lastly to access/change hardware profiles or certain other settings on the mouse you need to plug it directly in which is just a minor annoyance. The cable itself was a little hard to insert on mine and is not fully in until you hear a click, but that may be good thing since the cable on my old logitech wireless g700s would come loose mid game.

Battery life is pretty good at around a solid 16 hours with rgb and 24 hours without rgb on the 2.4ghz dongle or up to 50 hours on bluetooth. I mainly use the 2.4ghz option for gaming as the 1ms delay is needed for quick reactions in FPS games. I also have my rgb turned off currently which should last me well over a week of gaming sessions.

Overall I love this mouse and would recommend it to anyone looking for a larger mouse with the amount of customization that it offers, the freedom that comes with wireless, and the lower latency that it provides with Corsair’s lightspeed technology.

I have tried almost every reasonably priced (sub $100) gaming mouse with at least 5 custom buttons that is designed for larger hands and this one consistently performs the best.

One issue that I run into consistently with the other mouses (mice?) is that they are not fully compatible with Mac computers, which is what I use them on. Corsair mouses (mice? haha) are one of the few exceptions with their ICUE platform.

    The Good:

The Shape/Size - fits my larger hands comfortably and rarely leads to cramping during long sessions

The layout - I can easily access every single custom button, which makes them actually usable, as opposed to having custom buttons that take more time to find and hit accurately than not using a custom button at all. I love the double custom button layout on the front of the left-click button—they are my most used and most easily accessible. The back DPI is the only "hard-to-reach", but that particular button is never easy to reach, regardless of the mouse it's on.

The Feel - Both the literal feel of the mouse (matte/non-slip) and the mechanical feel of the inputs feel great. When the inputs are too loose or flimsy, it doesn't make for a good user experience.

    The Bad:

ICUE - Although it is largely customizable, it is still not very intuitive and almost caused me to return the product several years ago when I first purchased this mouse. Once you get it figured out, it's really powerful, but there is definitely a little learning curve.

Quality Control - This is where I actually deducted the star. I have purchased about 4 of these mice so far and have had to send one in for repairs and return another two to repurchase as the buttons were loose or didn't work at all. If I hadn't received a functioning mouse the first time, I would have assumed the mouse wasn't for me, because I've come across several of these that had broken buttons or the mouse wheel was completely disconnected. I knew they were faulty due to having a working one, but out of my 6-7 purchases of this mouse, I believe 2 or 3 were faulty and needed swapping, which is way too high of a percentage to "write off" and not mention.

    Conclusion:

If the quality control were figured out, this would be a perfect 5/5 stars, but the inconsistencies justify a 4/5. It is still my go-to because it IS that much better than every other mouse I've tested, but just know that you may have to buy a few to get one that actually works as intended. The mouse wheel should have a tactile feel as it spins and each button should operate smoothly, with just enough resistance. Each custom button should be programmed and tested as well. For example, my current mouse disconnects from ICUE when I press one of the custom buttons, despite it not being mapped to anything, which makes it (that button) unusable. I still use the mouse as everything else works properly, but I didn't come across that defect until after the return period ended.

I always have another one of these as a backup, because I really do enjoy the (working) version far more than anything else I've tested.

    Obs: compraria a versão wireless

5.0 out of 5 stars Worth the Purchase, minimal cons.

I absolutely LOVE this mouse. Very happy with how it performs. I would say the only thing that I find a bit difficult is "properly" remapping buttons, as you are required to essentially create a macro for the button to use. It's not terribly difficult, but I think just having the option in the software itself to remap a button like Increasing or Decreasing DPI to a useable mouse button that I can rebind for gaming would be better.

I do have rather large hands, but this mouse fits perfectly for me. If you have smaller hands, I would probably recommend a different purchase as this mouse is a bit on the larger side.

All in all though, this is a fantastic mouse and I would still highly recommend purchasing it.

I Switched from Razer because their products are trash. I get a Corsair mouse and the mousewheel broke after 1 month! I thought it was just a defective product so i reorder after refunding and this mouse broke after 8 months!. Seriously why is the rest of the mouse so good but the scroll wheel is such utter trash! Avoid!!!! Get a mouse that can survive scrolling through discord
