I bought another higher-end vacuum for over $400. This one is just as good and 1/4 of the cost. I love how it rotates to get under things. It has headlights to see what's being picked up. It has multiple settings for carpet and laminate/hardwoods. The top comes off and I can use it to vacuum out my car. It replaces my broom, which is perfect for my two kids ages 3 and 1 (and one 90lb German Shepherd). It's lighter to carry up stairs. Big wins. As far as dislikes, I don't have any. If this vacuum lasts one year, then it pays for itself.

My new shark

This vacuum works very well.  Without changing any attachments you can go from floor to carpet or rugs with no problem.  It's satisfying to see how much you pickup in the clear canister.  Quality is very good.  Highly recommend at this price point.  Several complained that it doesn't stand up on its own…it's a stick vacuum, it's not supposed to!

Worth it!

Works great for what I needed! I have a husband who works outside a lot & tracks in dirt and 2 dogs who are in and out. I was sweeping more often than not! I keep this plugged in and ready for quick clean ups! ❤️

Clean Master!

Great for anyone with physical limitations as well as anyone appreciating a small light vacuum. Actually, I got this for family members who live in a fairly cluttered home. The vacuum makes it possible to comfortably clean in small areas. I haven't used it on carpeting, so can't speak to that, but it gets all the dust bunnies on hardwood flooring or tile. I am nearly 70, so I appreciate its light weight and ease of emptying. What I dislike is the difficulty in removing the attachments from the wand (long tube). You have to twist and turn (I was advised by Shark) but I had to resort to using a silicone potholder to finally unattach the crevice tool from the wand. It took 5 minutes and a fair amount of effort, which is unacceptable. However, other than that (not to minimize this sizeable flaw), I so like the product.

Great, but with a Big Flaw

We use Shark uprights in our commercial cleaning business and have had great success for over 5 years with them.  My wife likes this model for the home.  This vacuum was purchased to replace an older version of the same.  We do like the Sharks.  I gave 4 stars as this vacuum was just recently purchased and we have not used it more than dozen times.

This unit is extremely loud, but it is also powerful. I have owned 3 other sharks and they have NEVER been so loud, it's annoying!  I am going to call Shark soon and see if this is normal.

I bought this about a month ago. I was looking for a vacuum to keep upstairs. It's top heavy & falls over.  The suction is horrible. I should have just bought another dyson to begin with. Now I'm out the $ on this & still have to buy a dyson. Either get something cheaper or upgrade to a better brand. This is not worth the price & I got it on sale.
