This best-selling classic provides a great introduction on what appreciative inquiry is and how to apply it. Sue has updated the 3rd edition with the latest research and many new examples. The Thin Thin Book of Appreciative Inquiry is the introduction to the exciting organizational change philosophy called Appreciative Inquiry. Appreciative Inquiry is a way of thinking, seeing and acting for powerful, purposeful change in organizations. It is particularly useful in systems being overwhelmed by a constant demand for change. Appreciative Inquiry approaches change by assuming that whatever you want more of already exists in all organizations.

Such a short book packed with information that made me a better person. Highly recommend.

A good book, nice structure and easy to read. Provides solid intro to the AI. However, it is really just a thin one and for the price I expected a trifle more. Still recommending, though.

Improve your organization, by finding what already goes well - and do more of this. The focus of the Appreciative Inquiry method is positive and by adding results in this vein, negatives tend to be crowded out.
Everything about this book is supportive of its aim, i.e. spreading the word:
Clear text, few pages, cost below $10,-.
It should be read as an introduction; additional resources are mentioned.

Read this book 3-4 times because I like it so much and I’ve seen it work. It’s a unifying and unique approach to improving how businesses and people operate.

Very good book: reminds you that a glass can also be half-full. This provides a complementary view to our normal negative-based, non-inclusive improvement methods.

It is a nother way to approach our relations a very useful way. The book is very useful - even in Sweden!

5.0 out of 5 stars This is a Great Book -- I have bought and distribute two cases to my teams over the years

I bought this book, this time, to give to a friend. (I had given away every copy in the two boxes of this book that I previously purchased).
While I am a big fan of this book and the practice of Appreciative Inquiry, I was surprised that I had somehow bought an electronic, rather than a printed, copy of the book. Now, I have an electronic copy of a book that I have read several times and I do not know how to forward it to the friend to whom I had intended to give it.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great little book for a quick overview on Appreciative Inquiry!

I had never heard of AI until I came across it on the internet and as it piqued my interest I wanted a little more information. This book is great - it doesn't take long to read and gives a good flavour of what AI is. Would recommend it as a starter book and it certainly inspired me to find out more.

A good book that shows a different approach on how to manage organizations better. I definitely recommend it but I certainly expected some more examples of its implementation
