Rare, Made in Mexico monitor, with a no tool required setup. The packing material was effective enough to protect the monitor on what seems to have been a near apocalyptic journey. I can use the swivel on the back to flip the screen sideways for reading. The swivel and tilt can be used one-handed, which is cool, but it's also a bit loose so I wouldn't use this monitor on any sort of moving platform or the monitor will lower itself to the minimum height on it's own. The screen is bright and crisp with no missing pixels or anything. The cheap blue plastic on the back is part of whats holding the monitor to the stand. The fit and finish quality is pretty good and the monitor front facing bezel material gives a classy impression. Would recommend.

I bought it on a sale for quite a bit off. I have been using it for a little while now and I love it. The 240hz refresh rate is fantastic. I love high refresh rate monitors now. My eye fatigue went away after I switched from 60hz monitor to 240hz monitor for gaming and work. The only downside that I didn't know is you have to use DisplayPort in order to use g-sync. HDMI is not good enough for g-sync, which I guess is a Nvidia restriction on their graphics card, not something that is wrong with the monitor. Overall, love this monitor and will use it for many years to come.

This monitor is an absolute steal! It has performed above expectation in every category. The stand that the monitor comes with is fully capable of filling whatever position that you desire it to be in, ranging from a couple inches off your desk to much more above. As it comes to performance I have seen 0 issues, no screen tearing, or any dead pixels when it was shipped to me about a month ago. The settings in the monitor are easier to navigate than any monitor I have ever had, and it’s performance for price is incalculable as an HDR 240hz monitor, with G-Sync and FreeSync (1ms response time), with a stand like no other. Samsung went above and beyond for a price point that is very much affordable. I could not recommend this monitor anymore than I already have, this is an absolutely perfect monitor. I give 4 star because top left of my screen has some blacklight bleed (visible during dark movies at night). This is common and I will not be returning this because of it. The rest of the monitor is perfection. Every pixel, every color, every HZ. I have been playing Apex Legends on a 6600xt and wanted to get rid of tearing in the game going from a 75hz monitor with no fps cap. It's life changing. Even games like Teamfight Tactics look 100x better. Every frame is so smooth. There is 0 ghosting on my monitor. Absolutely 0 and that was the biggest surprise for me! The freesync premium works. Even with my other monitor using Freesync basic at 75hz this monitor chugs away at 240hz perfection. What a great deal. There is the same price monitor at Best Buy for 220 as well that is 27 inches but my 75hz monitor is 1080p 27inch and I think is too big, you see a lot of sparkles in apex and other games. 25 is a sweet spot.

Settings: My settings for the monitor are 80% Brightness, Black level 13 (this is default and I promise is better overall than everyone suggesting 18. get a dark but visible wallpaper and then go from 13-18 and you will see dark colors disappear, this is not better for games of movies. Contrast 75%, any higher is actually terrible, don't do it. Sharpness at 60%, this monitor is VERY sharp, my other samsung 75hz I would tune my GPU to have image sharpening, this monitor does it without having to tax my gpu more, amazing! Keep HDR off, this monitor is only 400 nits, not worth it AT ALL. So ugly and ads input lag to games. I use the Freesync Premium so cannot talk about the input latency modes.

Should you buy? Yes. Game changing monitor for me. From the second I turned it on I realized how silly I was for not getting a higher hz monitor earlier. May as well just start at 240 and win. :)

Misc. The stand is very cool but it is so wide a mouse and keyboard gamer will want it on a monitor arm, which I did.
Shoutout to AMD drivers for finally getting good. Only using 19w to power a 240hz and 75hz monitor on a 6600xt and 5800x system. POG.

Flicker sometimes when alt-tab gaming

Edit: The flicker issue is usually related to different apps having different hz so alt tabbing made the display jump from 60hz to 240hz and vice-versa (usually fix it by restarting/updating drivers etc. AND I set my valorant background hz to 144hz I think)

Sometimes it flickers randomly when I have my game (valorant) open and I alt tab (note that it is in windows mode maximzed). Usually just push a bit on ur cable port to fix it. Still annoying af tho 'cuz I have sensitive vision and it sucks but that's just me being lil petty. Otherwise price vs quality is good for a 244hz (was at 298$ tax excluded). Recommend always keeping it on adaptive synch.

The Samsung Oddysey G4 is a brilliantly made monitor that not only is exactly as described but better! Honestly, this monitor is worth every cent. The picture quality is AMAZING to say the least. Games and movies look absolutely gorgeous!! The smooth fluid motion of the 240Hz refresh rate makes games come to life and seem as though they are going to pop right off the screen! The construction of this monitor is superb and the IPS panel is highest quality. Some may laugh as the size of this monitor but it's no laughing matter, it is plenty big enough for gaming and watching movies on as well as office work. An all around terrific, solid, top quality monitor that you will not regret buying! My only advice is to make sure you have a pc that can run games at a very high frame rate or you will be wasting you rmoney. For example if your PC can only run a game at 90FPS than you're not going to benefit from a 240Hz refresh rate at all and would be wasting your money. Just keep that in mind..
