I was doing a ton of research, because i desperately needed a new beard trimmer. I read some of the reviews on this Braun trimmer. I was shocked to see how many people wrote bad reviews. I trust Braun, I even have a Braun Series 5 shaver and I really love and enjoy using that shaver.
I read people were having problems with the battery or it would stop working.
Well I have this to say, if you read the instruction manual, it says NOT TO Charge More than 1 Hour!
You have to keep in mind the more you overcharge a battery, yes it will damage the battery and make the battery defective.
With all that being said, I used this trimmer and it works beautifully. I had no problems with the attachments, they all work great and are easy to swap in a new attachment.
The carrying case for this trimmer, is simply well designed. I like how it has its own individual molded compartment for each attachment. The attachments fit snugly and secured in the carrying case.
Each Attachment, can slide up or down to adjust the length cut, which I found pretty Amazing.
The only downside, is this trimmer did not come with a little brush to clean off the trimmer.
It also was struggling a little bit with the discharge of the hair clippings. But that's to be expected, especially if you have a lot of facial hair.
I saw reviews saying it leaves a big mess, Of Course it will! its the person using the device and their willingness to clean up after themselves. Don't blame the device for making a mess, blame the individual for not cleaning up after themselves.
Overall, this is an amazing and outstanding product by Braun. For the price it's unbeatable.

Disappointed
Update:Braun emailed me back,and they have now told me it is covered in the warranty, but in order for the to give me a new foil attachment,I have to send in my whole grooming kit, even though there's nothing wrong with the rest of it. So I think I'll just be dealing with not having the foil attachment, as opposed to being without one altogether for however long to have them send me another one. I could understand sending the old foil shaver head, but the whole unaffected unit is very unpractical to me, even from a cost standpoint to them as a company for paying to have that shipped to them.******************************************************I bought this grooming set 6months ago from here. Initially I loved it, it cut great, good battery life and attachment options. Then, about 2 months ago I started having problems with the foil shaver attachment, so about a month ago, I wrote them in regards to their so called "1 year warranty" and was told that part wasn't covered because it's considered"wear". I don't know about y'all, but when I pay for a product that's supposed to be superior to smaller brands, I expect them to stand behind their products. I thought that maybe spending the extra $30 or so would get me a product that lasted longer. I was wrong. Next time I will just buy a cheaper product that way it won't be such a big deal if something goes wrong with it later. Also should be noted, that all of the other previous grooming sets I have owned have never had this issue. Aside from that issue, it is a great shaver, but you kinda roll the dice if something goes wrong with it, if it will be covered. Next time, I will not be springing the extra for one from Braun again. The piece of the foil attachment you will see in the picture, you'll notice a hole in that will actually pinch and cut your skin.
