Just what I needed to fix an issue

Just what I needed to fix an issue
My GE Profile oven runs all the burners for preheat. While on preheat, it blew the broiler burner. They say it is rare to fail this way, but it shorted to the sheath and caught fire. We got to it before it set the kitchen wall on fire, but it almost damaged the fuse box bar below the 50 amp breaker for the oven. I replaced it with this GFCI breaker. I had to add an insulated splice block to get the neutral down to this breaker, but you can get those on Amazon as well. NOTE: Make sure you are wired to the NEC 2000 on a 4-wire hookup where there is separate wires for ground and neutral or this will not work. At least now, if another burner fails like this did, the GFCI will take it out and prevent the fire. It took 3 hours to clean the smoke residue, metal splatter, and metal drippings when this went. I was able to get a new burner and replace it, but this was very scary that it almost burnt down the house. As they say, an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure.
