A lot has been happening in my life family-wise that has required me to step away from social media and my book page. I'm really happy to have found some peace and be back reading with you all! Just to catch you guys up, last month I made the crazy decision to not renew my lease at my current apartment complex and instead pack my things up and leave Virginia. Yes, you read that right, I'm packing my things up and traveling to San Diego, CA for a month (or two) because that is what my heart desires right now. I've been thinking about this for some time now and figured what better time than NOW! I am young, no husband, no kids and currently working remotely. The only thing really holding me back right now is fear. I'm not going to lie, it's scary to think of myself across the country with no family, no friends and not to mention being in a completely unfamiliar place. With no flight or accommodations booked, I’m realizing that this feeling of fear is getting to me. This month I picked up The Alchemist by paulocoelho for inspiration in conquering my fears and listening to my heart. I've only been reading this book for a few days but it is really transforming the way I look at life. It's no surprise that its been translated into more than eighty different languages and has sold over 65 million copies.
