Product Description

An exquisite high-end Telecaster experience awaits the player who gets his hands on a Special Edition Custom Telecaster FMT HH. First, it looks phenomenal, with a carved flame maple top on a mahogany body, cream body binding, a gorgeous Amber finish with a matching headstock, a mahogany set neck, abalone dot fingerboard inlays and black hardware. Second, it sounds phenomenal, with dual Seymour Duncan humbucking pickups, three-way pickup switching, a push/pull coil tap switch built into the master tone control knob, and more. A decidedly non-traditional Telecaster of peerlessly crafted style and powerful sonic substance.

From the manufacturer

Fender Musical Instruments Corporation

An American icon, Fender was founded in Southern California and has established a worldwide influence that extends from the studio to the stage—and beyond.

Nearly seven decades since founder Leo Fender built his first electric guitar, Fender’s reach transcends instruments and accessories, encompassing a range of innovative digital experiences that fuel musical expression and serve players at every stage–on every stage.

Transforming Music One Guitar at a Time

Leo Fender wanted to craft an instrument that was as functional as it was easy to use. It was a primitive-looking object that was tough as nails, its powerful name inspired by another groundbreaking invention: the television. And with its revolutionary electrified tone, it would change the way music was made—forever. When someone asks, “Why Fender electrics?” the answer is clear. Fender guitars were designed to be louder, and exciting tones they produced are still engrained into our cultural DNA.

The First Word in Electric Bass

In 1951, we wanted to liberate musicians from the confines of the upright bass. And we did it by introducing a brand-new instrument with a bold, new sound. That instrument was the Precision Bass, a name that would not only become synonymous with rock ‘n’ roll, but also shape its very being. As time went on, we created new instruments to cater to a new, evolving type of musician: the electric bassist.

This guitar came in just a box with very little protection so I was lucky I guess during shipping. The guitar needed a little set up with action and intonation. The neck was straight and the relief was good as well, so I didn’t need to adjust the truss Rod. The guitar plays like a dream and then some. You won’t regret it other than gambling with the shipping. It doesn’t come with a gig bag like the answered questions say. But other than that love the guitar.

3.0 out of 5 stars Looks great, but it's not really a tele
Reviewed in the United States on April 1, 2020
It's a gorgeous looking guitar and it sounds heavenly, but it's not really a telecaster. I ended up selling this a year later. Not because there was something physically wrong with it. Like I said, it's an absolutely stunning guitar, but the only telecaster thing about it is its shape, really. It's not made with traditional telecaster woods, doesn't have telecaster construction, and doesn't have that telecaster sound. I bought it on looks alone and I ended up not playing it hardly ever. I guess I really wanted that classic spanky tele tone and this guitar just doesn't have it. I was blinded by its beauty. So my advice to you is to ask yourself what you're after? Looks or tone? If you're like me and wanted that classic telecaster look and tone, I would pass on this.

5.0 out of 5 stars Impressive Instrument
Reviewed in the United States on March 11, 2021
First off the pictures I uploaded are taken on a cheap tablet camera in bad light and do not do the quality and richness of the finish on this guitar any justice. This Telecaster is everything that Fender says it is on its site and anyone who buys this guitar will not be disappointed. It is a professional level, high quality instrument that is far beyond the potential that I have as a guitar player to get the most out of it as a beginner but that is okay cause that just means I will not have to replace it or hang it up on a wall to seldom play it as I get better. Great Guitar. Look up the Demo and Review Videos for this Guitar on You Tube. They are all true.

This guitar is awesome, the action was real high and had a bit too much neck relief when I got it but with a few adjustments it is perfect. The finish is gorgeous and plays beautifully and man it sounds great 👍 highly recommend even tho it's surprising it made it in 1 piece the way its shipped
