About this ebook

I hate Christmas.

As CEO of my company, I’ve banned decorations from the office, festive music from the lobby and any kind of secret Santa gifts between employees are strictly forbidden.

I’m heading to the airport, away from the Christmas lights and the mulled wine, heading for sunshine and margaritas when I get a call from Granny. She’s sprained her ankle and needs my help filling in for her as head of the village Christmas Committee. Snowsly is the Christmas Capital of England and the last place I want to be in the lead up to Christmas.

But there’s nothing I wouldn’t do for Granny.

When I arrive in Snowsly, I’m introduced to Celia Sommers who is Christmas’ biggest fan and therefore my own personal nightmare before Christmas. Worse than that, I have to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success.

Celia is determined to get me in the festive spirit. It’s not going to work.

It doesn’t matter if she’s smart and funny and easy to flirt with—if she doesn’t stop looking at me with her sparkling eyes and pouting her completely kissable lips, Celia is going straight to the top of my naughty list.

A stand alone romance

I love Christmas and The 14 Days of Christmas is one of the best holiday reads so far this year, if you want a magical read to put you in the mood for the upcoming season look no further than Sebastian Fox and Celia Sommers holiday romance. Sebastian hates everything about Christmas but when his granny calls and says she needs help he takes off for Snowsly ( I love this name) instead of the Caribbean, it was only meant to be for few days but once he arrives he finds himself wrapped up in everything Christmas including making Snowsly the town everyone visits to get a piece of the holiday spirit, what’s follows is a man doing an about turn on his feelings for Christmas and love. From the moment Celia and Sebastian meet it’s obvious there is an attraction but she loves everything Christmas and he is the Grinch so will Snowsly the Christmas capital of England work it’s magic…… A wonderful story with adorable characters, a magical read that I highly recommend.

5 star review The 14 Days Of Christmas by Louise Bay Oh my snow bells, from the first chapter I was hooked on this magical Christmas story set in Snowsly that ticked all the boxes for me. Sebastian Fox hates anything to do with Christmas, so much so that he has banned any semblance of Christmas in his company. However the one person he would do anything for is his granny. When she calls and asks him for help, he immediately heads to Snowsly, the Christmas capital of England. Meeting his total Christmas opposite, Celia Sommers, who loves everything to do with Christmas, he finds he has to work with her to make Snowsly’s Christmas market a success.Celia is determined to drag him into the Christmas spirit and despite himself Sebastian finds he is attracted to her. The attraction that sizzles between them morphs into a relationship that will ring the for both of them. The secondary characters were entertaining and added an additional layer to this wonderful story. Although not a long story, it was one that will put you in the mood for the holiday season.

I'm not usually one for seasonal books, but if anybody can convince me that I'm wrong, it's Louise Bay. Win me over, she did with this new book set in Snowsly when the Christmas hating Sebastian is asked by his injured grandmother to come help the Christmas village for a couple of weeks. He agrees with full intentions to bolt in time to spend the dreaded holiday on a beach in the Carribean. While there, he meets the locals and helps the committee rebound from some rough patches. Celia is a girl that LOVES everything about Christmas and after a horrible unexpected breakup last Christmas, she's determined to make this year make up for the last. Sebastian and Celia connect quickly with the goal of making the market a success with their ways of fixing issues and coming up with new ideas. The ability to work together so well continues to draw them together even while their feelings of the holiday are so far apart. This book has all the "hallmarks" of the Hallmark Christmas movies we love so much with all the sexy and hot chemistry that we can't have because let's face it, they are on the Hallmark channel. As always, Bay finds a way to bring these characters together without leaving the reader feeling like it's forced and without ridiculous unnecessary misunderstandings to force drama. This book is a gift to the readers that left me with a smile as I came to the end and excited to read the next book she's teased for next year.
