    Most DSLR and mirrorless cameras come with horrible microphones, this guy is a step up to better audio but still not anything close to a good quality for documentaries, shows, mini movies, etc. What I think this microphone does really well is provide an entry level for youtubers, content creators, etc, to be able to make content with some decent quality. 10/10 for value, 6.5/10 for audio quality.

    The audio recording I get on this microphone is LEAGUES better than then previous, shotgun style microphone I had been using previously. My husband and I are both actors, and in this "post-COVID" world we live in, audition are usually home auditions, self-tape requests. This means you need good audio 9 times out of 10. Well, this microphone give us the clearest, cleanest audio we could hope for in a home self-tape set up.     I tested this mic against others of similar price point and this one was the best of three options. I bought this to use with my iPhone 12 to do self tapes for auditions. The Comica mic had too much distortion and the Saramonic didn’t pick up sound as well as Rode. Rode isn’t perfect but it is good. Better than the internal mic on phone.
    Cons - I had to buy a $20 adapter cord to plug it into phone and a 1/4-3/8 male to male to mount on my tripod. I would have to have bought same thing for Comica mic. Saramonic plugged right into phone just not a great mic.

    I bought this to take on an international trip, and used it on my Fuji X-T5 to record video. I found the improvement to be significant over the camera mic, especially the directionality. This mini shotgun mic does what it’s supposed to, captures the sound in front of the camera. It uses fantom power from the camera (no batteries) so it’s very small, light and convenient. Naturally, longer mics with more power will do an even better job, but all things considered (size, price, and convenience) this is a tool I plan to keep in my arsenal and highly recommend.

    La qualità della registrazione con questo microfono è veramente buona, bassissimo rumore di fondo, ampio spettro di frequenze, specialmente sulla voce restituisce fedelmente ogni sfumatura e la gamma bassa, con grande potere di isolamento laterale.
    Comodissimo da portare in un set da viaggio perché è di misure contenute, con una buona dotazione di antipop e antivento.
    Come unica accortezza, dato che è veramente microscopico, occorre tenerlo a un metro, un metro e mezzo dal soggetto che parla, magari su un mini cavalletto dedicato e una piccola prolunga, a distanze maggiori perde il suo carattere di direzionalità e sensibilità.
    Ma viste le dimensioni e il costo, è un comportamento atteso e adeguato.
