Not quite 4.7Ghz but can't complain

Not quite 4.7Ghz but can't complain
All core stress tests show fairly stable 4.175Ghz all cores and are even better the cooler I keep it. Might have to try stepping up from a 280mm AIO to a 360mm AIO or full custom loop to see if I can keep higher all core speeds longer.I could go on about stats and how my best 2 cores I haven't yet seen run higher than 4.675Ghz yet, but at the end of the day the 3950x crushes my 1950x thread ripper in both speed and lower power consumption. (The thread ripper does still hold the better thermals and memory channels advantages, but it can't support the RAM and m.2 speeds a gen 3 ryzen brings to the table). My one and only complaint right now is that even after a month I haven't received my game codes email and will have to start an incident with amazon about it sooner rather than later...Overall I'm happy with my processor, but its not for everyone and considering the price difference between a 3900 and 3950 you might want to consider a fewer cores and high graphics if you're worried about a budget. Otherwise the 3950 has great performance, reasonable thermals with the right cooler, speeds and cores that were just a dream a few years ago and wont feel "too slow" or "too small" anytime soon in the consumer markets. (though the feeling of being too small when comparing to a 3990x threadripper might have already happened so maybe the future isn't as far away as I'd like to think it is)

5.0 out of 5 stars RYZEN 3950X por fin en Amazon mexico!!!!!
Reviewed in Mexico on February 7, 2020
