I am raising my three year old cat vegan. This brand is not as well known as the other commercial vegan cat food brands (there are not very many of them - Benevo, AMI, Evolution). Surprised I found this one on amazon. The Benevo gave my cat loose stools, the Evolution made him vomit a lot, and AMI is not soakable (turns to mush too fast).
After almost a month, I am seeing good signs. The kibble is firm enough to soak with water - which is absolutely necessary when feeding a vegan cat, since they are prone to urinary infections and dehydration. His stools are firm now. He doesn't seem to be enticed by the taste as much as he likes AMI but the price for Nature's Hug is way better than what I could get from Evolution or Vecado.
