    I wanted to hate this device due to its unboxing and was going to return it. It connected to the wifi but would not go outbound Internet. Magically, on the 12th try, it worked. What I realized is that it's appallingly slow when running background installations and updating at first. Furthermore, there were
    mulitple times when I needed to allow the device to sit, untouched, for 5-10 minutes before a simple webpage loaded. I had issues registering as an adult and allowing most of the Internet-enabled applications. It was infuriating and had I not had the day off and 3 hours to slowly babysit and tinker with a frustrating product, it would've gone back to Amazon with a terrible review.

    My daughter, however, truly wanted it so I stuck through it and got it working. I'm glad that I did. The device is perfect for kids, and there is not much more joy than texting with your child while you're at work and knowing they are safe on the device if they browse approved websites. The games that come with the phone, too, are pretty good, and there are others you can purchase, as well. You can even install Android apps if you want.

    Who your child can talk to or what they browse on the is up to you and easy to manage. Note that texting is through an app you install on your phone or, which I prefer anyway and in general is infinitely superior to spam texts, etc.

    Stick through the horrible setup and let your kid play with this. It'd be a 6 out of 5 stars if it weren't a frustrating disaster to setup and sometimes slow with functionality.

    The device is so slow that you can barely use it. We also cannot set up the messaging app because it won’t load the setup page at all. This thing is a total waste of money. Do not buy this unless you want your child to be devastated!

    My kid loved this and acts like it's a real phone. I don't really like it. The text chat app is a little difficult for even a 7 year old. It opens up as a video app so navigation to the chat portion to type a message is inconvenient. I also didn't realize everyone has to download a specific app to be able to text. It's not where you allow specific phone numbers. The biggest issue is the battery. It dies so fast and takes so long to charge.

    My daughter was asking for a phone, she's 7 so that's not happening. Got this instead. When she saw it Christmas morning she wasn't that excited, she set it aside and said it was a toy. But as we started using it I think we were both impressed. This is a great alternative to a real cell phone. She can take pictures with filters (snap chat like filters included), send texts with emojis, play games etc. It's almost as functional as a regular cell phone. I've even thought about getting a mobile hot spot and then she could send texts away from home. No technical issues with the phone at all, it works great and I am very happy with the purchase.

    This product was the main gift for my daughter from Santa and is already damaged, 1/2 the screen has turned black, (screens are kept away & screen time is supervised so I know it hasn't been damaged by my daughter) I went to get the warranty and realised it was only valid for 3 months, just shows how much faith they have in their product with such a short window. 162.50GBP was paid, I wouldn't pay 50GBP if given the choice again, the product is totally not worth it, the battery life is about 90minutes at most, the screen is un-usable, the company has not responded to any of my 3 messages. Really gutted that such an expensive product and the main gift from Santa can't be used anymore. Meanwhile my sons Nintendo switch is great which was 15GBP more.
