One problem and one caveat: One of the included extension cables was wired in reverse, according to the plug keying. It was no problem to fix the order and everything worked OK. If you buy this board (or any other), check the cables carefully as I understand mis-wiring of these is not rare, and sometimes the mis-wiring will cause problems.
The caveat: these boards run hot. Really hot - around 80-90C whenever the motors are energized - not just when printing. This is normal, from what I've read, but you may want to re-consider where you put them. I chose to mount mine near the motors so they wouldn't add a bunch of heat to the Tevo LM control case. Plus, it's pretty crowded in there already.
Be aware that there are two versions of "TL Smoother" boards out there. The other one has one diode pair per drive line for a total of 4 diodes on the board. There are some recommendations online that you use two of those 4-diode boards (in series) per stepper motor to maximize the smoothing effect on the stepper drive lines. This board (two diode pairs per drive line for a total of 8 diodes on the board) does the same thing as two four-diode boards in series, but does it on a single board per stepper motor drive line. Either arrangement works, and the 4-diode board may fix you right up. The Tevo LM has some really strong "salmon skin" artifacting, so I chose to go with this board and I'm very satisfied with the results.
I’m running an ender3 pro with an 8 bit board that has outdated stepper drivers. Had an artifact show up after a direct drive conversion that these smoothers seemed to help.
Installed on X, Y, and E.
Next step is a new board with better drivers but these smoothers were cheap enough and the quality improvement is good enough to push that step off for a bit.

If your machine is suffering from "salmon skin" these can help. I purchased these for a couple of machines, and saw immediate results on the machines that suffered from extensive salmon skin. The stepper motors got quieter, and the salmon skin was completely gone from follow up prints (especially recommended for the Alfawise U20). However, if your machine doesn't suffer from salmon skin, I wouldn't use these. I tried them on another printer that worked great, hoping to see even better prints. Unfortunately it caused issues in printing and I have since removed them from that machine. So that said, these are amazing to address some issues in print quality such as salmon skin, but not necessary for a machine that already prints good with no quality issues.
I wasn't expecting much with these, placebo effect or not.. but was NOT expecting this to make my printer run like crap. I basically paid to make my printer to run bad.
