Does sensor really only transmit 33 feet?  Seems like I need to mount very close to the house which will degrade wind and possibly rain measurements.

My Husband loved the ease of set up and the amazing accuracy of this instrument.

Worth the money/great value

Great weather station although connecting it to WiFi was a bit more involved than the instructions led us to believe. My suggestion is that you call the help line for Ambient if you run into problems. once connected to our WiFi we were able to see readings of other nearby weather stations to confirm our readings.

Upgrade of weather station

We have had this station in use since purchase, and it is in our yard at home. It works very well, no issues, and very accurate...Love it !

Set up was super easy and took about 30 minutes to put together and acquire the signal.  Another 30 minutes and I had it mounted and reading the signal about 40 ft. away through a wall.  I did not set up the phone app as this was a gift for my Mom and she didn't think she would use that feature.

Great Quality! Easy to Set Up.

Seems to function properly so far.  I had to get creative in mounting on a pole.  The fastening clasp and mounting u-bolts are awkward to work with and keep level.
On the second try I was finally able to get the system reporting to the online network. 
The wireless range between the console and the station is very good, I was able to place my station in an open field about 80' away from the house with full bar signal strength.

So far so good.

Mounting instructions not very good and the mounting brackets are expensive. Mounted it with pvc pipe and a couple straps. The station itself is great. App is okay, buffers alot ios.

Make your own mounting bracket

The temperature went out on this within 2 weeks of setting it up!  company said return it, it's defective.

Not sure I'd recommend
