I enjoyed the story BUT this author’s writing style makes it hard for me to truly enjoy it. Some of her paragraphs were just one long, long sentence. There aren’t commas were there should be, and not many periods either. Over and over I had to read these unbelievably long sentences a couple times to understand what the heck she was saying. And many of her sentences were incomplete. It seemed like a lazy way to write a book. The first couple books of hers were like this as well, but this one seemed to be the worst. It’s too bad, because I liked the characters, but it’s too much of a struggle to continue. I have to wonder, what her editors were thinking. Maybe this is the new style of writing, but I didn’t enjoy it at all. Won’t recommend and I won’t continue with this series.
