Undertaker the Prez of the Evil Dead MC is trying to get help for Holly, Cat sister. They saved her from Blood's evil Father. She was almost sold into slavery and burnt to death.
Undertaker is the one who saved her. She wouldn't leave the compound.
Undertaker decided to have Cat find someone to help her psychological problems.
Dr. AJ Carter was asked to talk to Holly but she refuses to go to her office. So AJ came to MC club to have an evaluation of her trauma..
When she was done she went downstairs to explain what needs to be done. They both think they've seen each other before but didn't know where.
Next time he took Holly for a session he finally realized he knew her from fifteen years previously.
When he was released from prison he had to go for counseling for the entire year for part of his parole.
He knew her as Allison.
Undertaker previously had a family before going to jail but lost contact with them being locked up for eleven years. He was determined to find them. He asked her to sign off his release before he was finished. He didn't know that she lost her job because of her breaking the rules for him.
When he was released he went back to the MC and found out the Prez was dying from cancer and wanted him to be the new Prez. So for fourteen years he ran the club.
Now he admired what she is doing for Holly and he is falling for this strong woman who runs two shelters for battered and abused women. He's her advocate for keeping her safe.
They fight the attraction but they finally give in. Steamy love scenes and intimate talks to know more about their lives.
He finds out she was previously married and had gotten pregnant. But husband was shot down right in front of her from one of the abusive boyfriend of one of clients. And loss her baby because of her depression and trauma.
Undertaker promises he will always protect her.
He doesn't know that he is being setup to take a fall for arson by a past prisoner that was with him in Prison. Many twists in turns in the path to happiness but your route for these two to have their HEA.
Loved both Characters. Happy to see Undertaker finally finding love. Strong leader and would do anything for his men and their love ones.

I really liked the characters in this book. I was happy it was about someone that wasn't in their 20's. I really love Undertaker and now I'm wondering why it took me so love l long to read this book. These two are completely opposites in almost every way but it somehow works. AJ id's a sting woman there's been through allot in her life but still keeps going on and doing everything she can tho help other people. This book had me hooked fin the start. It's a book full of suspense love and brotherhood. These guys live hard but love harder. If you love MC Romance then you might want to check out this book and this series.

Underertaker and Alison - it doesn't get any better than this. Nicole James, you write with heart & soul. I've held off my reviews because I was so invested in these characters I just wanted to keep reading & reading till I read all the published books to date. Almost there... Now it's back to Ghost and Red Dog with Joker the 9th in the series.
