Five guilty stars!

Five guilty stars!
Damn it! Three Guilty Pleasures by Nikki Sloane left me speechless and breathless! What a way to end my year with such a pleasurable and intense masterpiece. This book is a freaking unicorn! It has everything that make your panties wet and make you swoon. Merde! I can’t find the right words to describe how much I enjoyed and loved this book. The writing is elegant and hot as lava. Nikki Sloane penned a stunning romance with BSDM touches, some shades of music and dancing. This book is everything and more. She simply mixed what I love the most in a book: a unique plot, strong and complex characters, sizzling chemistry, music, dancing and love.In my opinion this is Nikki Sloane at her best. There is not a surprise why she is one of my favourite authors. Her books are explosive and incredible hot. She captivates readers with strong heroines, sexy AS male characters and original storylines that leave you aching for more!Books like this remind me why I love to read! Three Guilty Pleasures has the right amount of passion, attraction between the main characters, drama, smoking hot moments and slow burn love. The storyline is vibrant and all-consuming. I spent a great moment reading this book. I couldn’t resist falling in love for Grant. At some point I wished I was Tara because who doesn’t want a hulking rugby player who also plays cello like a god?The story of Tara and Grant is explosive and scorching hot. The attraction between those two is pure fire. The ballerina and the cellist player. The submissive and the rugby player. They make a powerful couple that will burn everything to ashes. They are driven and highly talented; together they are dynamite.Three Guilty Pleasures is an erotic tale. It pours passion and it is deliciously dangerous and hot. It brakes all boundaries. Is is perfection with capital letters.Nikki Sloane is one of the few authors that always surprises me with books that take my breath away and make my cheeks burn. Her writing is unexpectedly powerful and the intensity level of each of her masterpieces is out of this world. It is like she knows what exactly her readers need.

4.5 stars. Tara has been around since the very first book in this series, as a side character or to enhance a scene because she works at the club, and now she finally gets her spotlight. While I've always liked her, I was really surprised by how much her character had to offer since she always seemed to simply be an extra sexy bonus person in the other stories, with little insight to her true personality. Grant is Ruby’s best friend from Three Sweet Nothings who plays rugby and the cello. When he and Tara meet face to face, it's literally like out of a romance novel (oh wait, is that what this is?) in the way he gallantly rescues her and their eyes make contact.

Because of Tara's participation in the Blindfold Club and also her trysts with another Dom couple (Tara is a sub), she hasn't really tried to date anyone because that would be hard for another partner to accept. What's surprising about Grant is how conventional, but nonjudgmental, he seemed as Ruby's best friend, but in his own perspective, Grant is extremely open minded and he is very competitive. Which means he loves a good challenge and doesn't easily shy away from obstacles so getting to know Tara, even with limitations set in place, isn't a hardship for him. I loved the scenes between Tara and Grant when she dances and he plays the cello. That really highlights the connection they have, and not just on an artistic level.

Of course there's steamy and scorching hot scenes. There's also a tenderness and emotional vulnerability between Grant and Tara even before all the cards have been laid on the table. And somehow, Nikki Sloane managed to save the best for last because there's a scene towards the end which really had me hovering over every single word because it's really climatic in multiple ways (no pun intended). The irony is that Joseph plays a crucial role in this book, and while he's not a main character, he finally won me over to where I actually like him now. Grant and Tara are a fantastic couple and addition to this series and I hope there will be more of these characters in the future.

I love this series---it's always HOT and scorching sexy. Sometimes though....a series just needs to end. Nikki continues to be one of my "go to authors" when I want a hot story. Unfortunately, for me, this series is becoming predictable and monotonous. It's like the plot is the same and only the characters' names have been changed. I'm ready for something new I guess. It was good, it was hot, but after reading all of the other books..I feel like it's time to be done. I don't think every character NEEDS a story--especially when they all revolve around the club, client comes in, falls for girl in the room, they fall in love, etc. With that being said....I will continue to read whatever Nikki Sloane writes...I just hope it's something completely new. 3.5-4 stars

This whole series is amazing. The writing, the plot lines, the oh so steamy scenes. Hot from the beginning and just gets better. I highly recommend all of them and look forward to reading the other series from this author. These books are about finding love, the other half of yourself and they were amazing!

I loved the parts with the main characters, really didn’t enjoy the parts with the other two. I couldn’t even finish the book that was just them and I LOVE her other books!

4.5 steamy stars!

When I want steamy, I read a Blindfold Club book by Nikki Sloane because they never disappoint and this one certainly met the challenge! For some reason I don't remember Tara super well but I loved her character in this book. A gentle heart who's trying to chase her dreams and be accepted for who she is, Tara is a great heroine. Grant is a rugby playing, quasi journalist,"hot cello" playing guy who happens to save Tara from injuring herself in a dance move gone astray. Grant and Tara have immediate chemistry and attraction, but this isn't the first time they've met, unbeknownst to them. Secrets are just part of working at the Blindfold Club but Tara really wants to put it all on the line for Grant, but Grant's holding back something too.

I loved the dance and musical elements in this story; I felt it really elevated it to the next level adding depth to the story and characters. Tara and Grant have to get creative physically due to some "rules" and it was so hot, almost hotter than the act itself! I loved how they bent the rules. And then there is the last scene....holy moly is all I can say, I was on the edge of my seat reading it.

My only complaint keeping me from giving 5 full stars was with editing. There were a few tense mistakes with verbs in the first third of the book that tripped me up causing me to reread a sentence cause it didn't quite make sense. It wasn't a huge deal, I just don't remember ever catching that from the previous books and it did detract from my reading experience slightly. Overall I enjoyed it and look forward to more books in this series!

We seem to have waited a long time for this chapter of the Blindfold Club, and it was worth the wait, loved Tara and Grant and it was great meeting up with Regan and Silas and not forgetting Joseph again. 5 stars is never enough for any of Nikki's books.

5.0 out of 5 stars Great series - just needed more dialogue during smut scenes

Great series! Love how this book explains the blindfold club in great detail. Loved the mention of Australia lol

I love how all the books in the series are intertwined, nice to see cameos from other characters.

Was a bit annoyed with the end of chapter 18. Would’ve liked that last scene to be played out more after Grant asks Tara to get on the bed.

This book wasn’t as smutty as Nikki’s other books. I would’ve liked more dialogue during the smut scenes in this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars Super Hot
Reviewed in Australia on December 31, 2018
Three Guilty Pleasures by Nikki Sloane was SO MUCH FUN to read! This book was super hot, but it also had a great storyline that I really enjoyed reading. This is one of those books that once you start reading you can't put it down until you have finished. Which is exactly what happened for me.

Grant is such a contradiction - he is a big, hot, rugby player who is super competitive across all areas of his life. But he is also Hot Cello guy, and can be very endearing at times. It was so sweet how serious he took learning some music for Tara. Tara knows that she is falling fast for Grant, but is worried how he will react once she tells him everything. Will he be accepting of her and still want her once he has all the information??

Tara and Grant were a great couple - after their first *face to face* meeting, I couldn't wait to get further into the storyline and see how it all played out. The anticipation of when they would each discover certain information about the other kept me glued to the screen. I knew it was going to be explosive, and the ending of this book was (you guessed it!) really HOT.
