I was a fabulous tale of two people finding that friendship can often be more, and sometimes the last person you are looking for is right in front of you. I enjoyed this book and recommend it wholeheartedly.

He knows she'll be resistant so he must tread lightly but this felt a little too drawn out. Eventually progress is made but not for all the couples she's trying to match during her holiday party. Too bad there wasn't at least one other happy couple.

Overall enjoyed Emily and Cav’s story. I appreciated that the climax was handled like mature adults. And that it was believable. I hate misunderstandings or situations made unnecessarily dramatic if the heroes would just talked it out and thankfully that wasn’t found here. I also really like when authors add epilogues, just my personal preference. It’s a nice story to read during this time of year. Yes there are some things I’d like to play out differently but overall I really liked it. I’d recommend it.

Emily's husband died 5 years ago. Over that time, she has become closer and closer to his friend, Cav. Since she doesn't have love in her life, she throws a matchmaking party with the theme of the 12 Days of Christmas. She enlists Cav to help her. Who will end up matched at the party?

The chemistry between Emily and Cav was amazing - especially in the bedroom! I haven't read many regency romances, and I did not expect it to be that steamy! I was pleasantly surprised!

I was a little disappointed in this party. I loved the idea that it's based around the 12 Days of Christmas. But I felt like it could have been executed better. The party seemed like an afterthought. I wish more of the couples paired up or we could at least see if there was any chemistry! I felt like the romance between Emily and Cav could have just taken place in London.

It wasn't a disappointing story. I just felt it could have been executed better. Definitely worth a read, though!

Mismatched Under the Mistletoe is a fun read with humor and a romantic quality that only Ms. Michael can bring. Yes, the hotness factor is through the roof, which if you've read her books before you would expect, but it doesn't overwhelm the simple romance of the story. I love that the the hero and heroine are the best of friends before the HEA comes into play.
I would recommend this story to anyone who enjoys a well written romance with like able characters.

I adored this book. But then, you can never go wrong with anything by Jess Michaels, I've come to discover. Although this was a relatively short book, and touted to be a lighthearted one, it had me crying and kept me in suspense and anxious at how things would turn out. I was invested in the characters. The author managed to fit a lot into this story. It was an emotional ride, the chemistry was sizzling, and yes, there was humour that had me chuckling too.

It's such a beautiful and emotional story. I absolutely loved it and I adored Cav from the very start. It's so beautiful how he fell in love with Emily and the agony to hide his love from her for 9 years because she was married to his best friend. I felt sorry for Emily losing her beloved husband. But I was happy that Emily and Cav found happiness together after the loss and heartache. It's a tender love story full of passion and emotion. It's another gem of a story by Jess.
