My Thoughts:I'm still inlove with Quinn! Cindy Kay gives him such a cute voice! I know the gargoyle picture we have is not of cetrine quarts but that mischievous grin is Quinn through and through!Unfortunately, the "too stupid to live" (tstl) element from previous book(s) is also apparent here. Bummer!! after finishing reading it, you immediately go back to re-read the sections you particularly enjoy.

I think this last entry of the series may be the best and I've certainly enjoyed all of them. What really makes this book stand out for me is the growth in character of the heroine and her sidekick, gargoyle Quinn (we should all be so lucky as to have a best friend as this loyal, brave lion). Really exciting thrilling scenes and great world building. I also appreciate that this book doesn't have sex scenes cuz I'm just so sick of coming across those. The romance is light which I'm okay with and actually prefer. Very satisfying ending, you will not be disappointed!

This is definitely not a book to read as a standalone, you definitely want to start at the beginning of the series.

Kylie and Quinn are such a great Batman/Robin type of pairing and I hope the muse strikes Chastain again so that she feels inspired to continue their adventures, particularly in light of Kylie's new development (trying not to be spoilerish!).

It was great to see the character development that Kylie went through and how her relationships deepened through everything. I started reading Chastain as Gargoyke Guardian was a recommended read, as well as reduced to 99p. I got halfway through and bought the rest in the series then went on to this series. I've enjoyed every minute. Ivevlaughed, cried and been right totally annoyed alongside the characters. Will be gathering the Madison Fox series next, already have the novella collection for her. I highly recommend Rebecca and hope she goes on to write more on Terra Haven and our gargoyle friends as you cannot help but see them as such after these books.
