About the authors
Jamie McFarlane is a graduate of Colorado School of Mines with a Master of Science in Mathematics. An avid reader, tinkerer, woodworker and metal sculptor, Jamie is just as likely to be seen smelting aluminum cans in his garage as he is tacking random, discarded iron objects into a small army of beasties that adorn his home’s landscaping.
Jamie’s writing career began as something of a dare which later turned into a tribute. In his late teens, Jamie was well known as the family story-teller, spinning fanciful yarns about ordinary events, usually with the objective of escaping well-deserved trouble. One day, his mother, often the target of his mischievous tales, challenged him to commit his words to writing. Jamie promised he would but time passed, as did his beloved mother. In 2014, Jamie made good on his promise and published his first book.
Jamie is the author of a growing library of novels and novellas of military science fiction titles including Junkyard Pirate and the Privateer Tales series.

If not, then believe you me, you’ve been missing out and I highly recommend that you go back to the first book in the Henry Biggston series (When Justice calls) and start from there. It is a ride well worth taking and you will *not* be disappointed! This series contains action, drama and unglamorous look at the criminal underworld and how crimes continues to affect victims for months if not years afterwards.
But it also contains camaraderie, love, hope, more than a little humour and how even though the world may seem bleak, dark and hopeless at times there are still good people out there willing to do the right thing and *that*, more than anything else, is well worth remembering. :)
A war veteran turned. Cop/deputy he is always trying to do what is right.
The series is very entertaining and I hope there are more books to come.
It is such a pleasure to read a book and not have foul language in order to get a point across. Henry is a really good guy that you would want as a friend...someone to have on your side even with his flaws.
Wasn't real about first book. Yes I liked it but for some reason it didn't make a big impression. Book two was quite a bit better, Biggs seemed to be growing. By book three Biggs was a solid quiet hero. There was a lot of action with couple of very bad men and Biggs.
Very good stories, great characters and a fine author. A very good series to enjoy.
Thank you Mr McFarlane

His epic works are eagerly and enthusiastically awaited, his ability to produce consistent works of quality that are jam ( no pun intended ) packed with sumptuous vivid characters on wild adventures
Filled with exciting plot twists which remain dazzlingly brilliant throughout, keeps a fast paced momentum which has a fresh raw and gritty texture, illuminating darkness with a matched tension and threads of humour which are woven across each tale that remerge and carry a lightness and ease of reading, which will occasionally make you laugh out loud and keep you smiling throughout. the work of a true genius...
biggles 3.. read it... enjoy it.. spread the love and share with family, friends, enemies and colleagues.. a great stand alone book.. but stop.. go back and read everything else too, you will not be disappointed, in fact you'll be a better and more enriched person
