BarbieTheWelder started working for a custom fabrication shop out of school in 2008. She began her own shop in her garage a few years later and quickly went to work designing and crafting everything from a three-tier chandelier to a steampunk owl to a chain-pup table. She enjoys the challenge of designing and handcrafting unique home décor as well as furniture. this book lead me to believe i could "weld at home". well, thats where the trouble started. long story short, next day im missing curtains, have giant burn holes in my couch, and the whole house smells like burning carpet. buyer beware!!

other than that obvious flaw, great book, literally BILLIONS of high quality pictures* and instructions. if you cant get the desired results from this book, just give up and hit yourself in the head with a brick, because the instruction in here doesnt get any better. great material and great inspirational author. i gave it three thumbs up, and i only have 2 (one one of them is bandaged up after the fire) thats how good it is.

*number may be slightly exaggerated, full disclosure, i DID NOT actually count them all.

Also, how to make letters from horseshoes is important if you didn't already know how to do it. Be honest, most of us don't know how to make every single letter from horseshoes. So far I've created a bowl and an angel with wings. You can also find the author on youtube. She makes videos welding some of the projects in the book and others that are not in the book.
