Opposites attract in the third Ace Security novel from New York Times bestselling author Susan Stoker.

Bailey Hampton will do whatever it takes to keep both herself and her little brother safe from the vicious Inca Boyz gang. Hiding out in Castle Rock, Colorado, is only a temporary solution until she can earn enough money to get out of the state altogether. But when she meets handsome security nerd Nathan Anderson, she discovers a reason to stay and fight for what she wants.

Ace Security’s Nathan Anderson has always been the “numbers guy,” not the man any of the firm’s clients look to when their safety is threatened. But from the first time he ran into Bailey, she never made him feel like less of a protector than his brothers. Nathan was attracted to the petite, black-haired pixie with wild tattoos from the start, and by some miracle, she seems to return his interest.

But danger stalks Bailey and her brother, so it’s up to Nathan to channel his inner alpha and find a way to end the threat to their lives once and for all―and he’s not giving up Bailey without a fight.

I loved, loved Nathan and Bailey’s he falls first, nerd, healing romance. The suspense was well balanced with the romance which created a perfect contrast in this heartwarming, steamy, exciting, dangerous, and healing story. I was feeling all the big feelings with this one along with Nathan and Bailey. They are both such wounded souls that need love and healing and I loved that they found that with each other. Nathan is a fraternal triplet who was physically abused by his mother. After his mother murders his father, he and his brothers returned to their hometown to start Ace Security to help other abused people. Bailey is the former girlfriend of Donovan, the head of the Inca Boyz gang. She escaped when Donovan’s behavior towards her younger brother, Joel, became scary and wildly inappropriate. They are living and hiding in the same small town where Nathan lives. Nathan has been looking for Bailey as a result of the two previous run-ins Ace security had with the Inca Boyz (books 1 and 2) but their meeting is the result of fate rather than good detective work. The more time Nathan, Bailey and Joel spend together, the closer they become, but the danger from the Donovan is coming. The story was well written and included witty dialogue, three dimensional characters who grow, and an engaging storyline as shown through sweet moments, steamy scenes, chuckles, supportive friends, messy families, painful pasts, dangerous situations, uber protective men, and all the love. Joel was a such wonderful and integral addition to the story rather than a flimsy story prop. The story would not have been as rich and well rounded without the full development and inclusion of his character and the growth for Nathan and Bailey that stemmed from interactions with him. I can’t wait read the next book in the series.

Claiming Bailey is the third installment in Susan Stoker’s Ace Security series. In it she chronicles the romantic journey of Bailey Hampton and Nathan Anderson. As a teenager, Bailey was lured into the lifestyle of the gang leader, Donovan. The Anderson brothers own and operate a security firm and through it crossed paths with Donovan in a previous case. Nathan, a computer geek, helps his brothers with intel and managing their business He learns of Bailey and looks for her. Destiny bring them together when he encounters car problems. News reaches their small town that Donovan is on the hunt for Bailey. Will he find her? Will she heal from her emotional scars to fall in love? Can Nathan win her heart? Tof discover how their journey unfolds, you must read this book.

I enjoy the way Ms. Stoker’s blends romance, suspense, family, and life in a small rural community. Ms. Stoker creates the perfect recipe for this captivating romantic suspense. She blends in strong, multi-dimensional, and likeable lead characters, chemistry, and a splash of gentle intimacy, some passionate and erotic scenes to make this a captivating romance story.

I know with a book like this the guy's an Alpha her strength was not what I expected but it was so good to have her show her inner strength loved these characters

Self proclaimed nerd Nathan, the youngest of the three Anderson brothers, if only be minutes, let's a stranger, a woman help him get his car, Marilyn started, so he can get ice-cream home for his pregnant sister-in-law. Little did he know that she was the one that he was been looking for, for more reasons than one. Great read!

I listened to this on audiobook. The narrator is very good and easy to listen too. I love Nathan and Bailey together. I think they are so good for each other and basically a perfect match. Both characters are extremely likable and somewhat relatable. His nerdiness and inexperience directly contradict everything about her at first glance but inside there is an extremely vulnerable woman looking to escape the emotional and physical scarring of her past. I wasn’t quite sure at first that I could get past what Bailey had endured with the Inca Boys but as the story went on and her friendship with Nathan deepened, I was able to focus more on the what was happening then.
Nathan is beyond sweet, caring and generous. He has the patience of a saint. He falls fast for Bailey and literally spends all of his time focusing on tearing down the walls she has built around her heart/emotions and also trying to reverse everything her gang banger ex jerkface instilled into her 10 year old brother Joel’s mind about how women should be treated. I love his relationship with Joel almost as much as his relationship with Bailey.
I loved that Logan, Grace, Blake and Alexis were all featured in this book. So many good things happen especially around them so they offset the bad! Loved the ending!!!
PS and spoiler alert: Donovan is despicable and the things he and his gang did were very hard to take. So happy he finally gets his and in an epic way!!
Susan Stoker never ceases to amaze me with the storylines in her books. 5 stars!!

Good story, instead of muscles (although he had his fair share) the man in the story had brains. The woman had great fear and a young brother who was threatened by a scumbag. Good story with a twist!

I have sat here all day reading because I just couldn't put it down, that is how good a Susan Stoker book is and Claiming Bailey was not disappointing at all.

I have to say I find books involving rape hard to read but I really couldn't put Claiming Bailey down her story was one of horror, strength, courage and finally love and I really hope one day Susan writes a story for Jeol when he grows up that would be a totally amazing story.

Nathan Anderson is just the sweetest geek ever...lol he really is and he compliments Bailey perfectly.

I really enjoyed Bailey and Nathan! Both had their hang-ups and baggage, but they pushed through it when it came to each other. These two definitely gave us a slow burn, they were attracted to each other from the start. They both had trust issues, and getting that established was paramount for them before anything could happen. They had a solid base when they started their romantic relationship, and it only got better from there!
