What some people have an issue with is the main thing I love about this book...crossover. If you haven't read all of Jordan's books let me list the ones that will be apart of them so you can catch up.
Colton Lyon- Lyon book series

Masters- Man of Steel
Summers- Bad Boy
Mallory-Rough Riders

And of course all the previous Seal series books.

A lot I know but it's a wonderful challenge to keep all the characters in play over a huge series and I give the author a round of applause for doing so.

Cord and Susie. I don't feel any certain way about them. Cord is a Dom/alpha/seal and while you see glimpses of all these parts of him, I felt that he personally was lacking. A Dom would never have left his sub alone after a traumatic event happened to her. He would have seen to her needs and put her first. He is surrounded by brothers that should have done the dirty work for him. He also would have answered her questions to put her at ease (this is something I find wrong with all the men). And I can't believe is that he doesn't tell her and Davey about their father, if he expects honesty from her, he should give it in return. Keeping that information between only the men is wrong. The last thing that leaves me puzzled is why he wouldn't realize that she feels like an outsider with the whole wedding planning. He dropped that ball. Now, Susie does not feel strong enough like a submissive should. She challenges him on little things but not the big ones. I don't feel enough about her.

Now, the great parts about the book. The sex scenes were hot. You'd expect no less from a Silver book. Cord is very much in love with Susie. His insights are what make it believable. The writing was smooth and flowed nicely making it an easy read. I appreciate not having to shake my head and think, "who in the h* ll uses words like tumescent?" The dirty language is perfect and what you should expect when reading erotica style books.

All in all I was pleased with this book and I will stay a Jordan Silver fan. I can't wait for Quinn (he's mine, butterflies) and Devon's stories. I am on pins and needles to see how the stories end. Congratulations Mrs. Silver on another amazing book!

Loved Cord and Susie. Cord is not just an Alpha Dom, he is a 24/7 Dom in all aspects of his life. He needs to be in control over everything. In Susie he finds his life mate and perfect sub. Most of the story is dedicated to Cord training and educating Susie in and on the 24/7 D/s life style they will live together.
The guys are still working to unravel the and take down those responsible for the commanders death and the attacks on their women. There is cross over characters from other series that are frequently referenced. Who are dealing with the same f#@&ry that the Team has been, and who e guys have helped out. Which I love.! While there is enough back story as not to be lost, f you haven't read The Lyon series, Catch Me if You Can, Anarchist, and Bikers Baby Girl, take e time to read them before you read Cord. Lyon, Law and Creed along with Mancini make more than a !mention in the story.. The Team makes a showing in their stories following leads, gathering Intel, and lending their talents.
Cord ends in a cliffhanger. I hate that. So can't wait for the next book. Will Quinn or Devon be the next to fall?

Ok what do I say about Cord. First let me say yes this story has a lot of crossover characters but I loved that. Yes there is different POV's BUT this book is longer then JS usually writes. So we still get Cord and Susie's story and it's about the same as all her other books. Now onto the book itself. Very very Jordan Silver. I think there should be a warning if you didn't like any of her other books then don't read and review this one. This book is HOT and full of alpha male. We have seen that Cord is strung tight and Susie is either going to loosen him up or pop his string. Susie has always had to take care of everything to include her little brother. Can she let go and let Cord take the lead or is she not ready? Read for these answers and more about who is behind the attacks on all the women. Now who is next?

I just love this series although I can understand its not for everyone. Cord is different from the others he's a Dom and I'm not sure about the way he deals with Susie I find him a bit over the top especially the enema scene. But nevertheless the background story seems to be really heating up with mancini, creed, colton and others getting involved pretty serious stuff 're American political figures but Tyler is my favourite he just lightens everything up and he's HOT and SEXY. Can't wait for the next book.
