His Proposed Deal Paperback – March 27, 2015

4.3 4.3 out of 5 stars 4,330 ratings

THREE MONTHS. IT WAS ONLY FOR THREE MONTHS.My plan was set in motion. I was finally moving from Miami to New York to pursue my lifelong dream of attending Parsons School of Design. On the way, I never expected to meet a man and receive an email that would alter my plans and change the course of my life forever.Max Hamilton was a twenty-five-year-old, panty-melting, rich playboy who was being groomed to take over Hamilton Securities. He told me it would only be for three months. His proposed deal was that I had to pose as his fiancée until his twenty-sixth birthday so he could collect his trust fund. I’d help him, and in return, he’d help me achieve my dream of attending Parsons. It was a win-win situation, right?WRONG.Falling in love was never part of the deal and neither was the secret Max could never find out about.

Fake romance have the ability to develop into true love as this story proves. As people we must push past hurt and pain to open our hearts, bodies, and soul to unconditional love, healthy friendships and relationships. We must learn to have more faith in ourselves and those around us. Communication is an important factor. Most importantly we must confront our fears as we are not our parents. We can learn from both their weaknesses and their strengths as told by this story. Hats off to the author for writing a story that both men and women could relate. God was in the mist of their storm. They past the test as their baby girl is a living testimony of their faith.

Some stories just grab you and suck you in. This is one of those stories. The only reason I'm not giving it five stars is that I felt the writing a depth of emotion that takes a story from beautiful to unforgettable. It s a solid 4.5 for me.

I can't wait to read more by this author. I don't want to give away any spoilers so I won't write a terribly long review as I probably would. I will say that the ending was truly utterly perfect. More than that, it was a realistic ending while still very much like a fairytale. I had a few irritations with the characters but more so for their personalities. With that said, I have a problem with a few quirks of my husbands and still am madly in. Love with him. Sooooo...I guess it's the flaws and quirks that makes a person who they are and I can honesty say that these characters were perfect for this story line and each other.

Brilliant author. Sweet story. I'd definitely recommend this to anyone who loves romance. (Although I will say max fell short in the wooing portion. I tend to like my men all rugged, cocky and commanding. Max is not your typical alpha which. He has issues but he is not a bad boy. Although he did display some angry possessiveness which I ate up. Okay I'm blabbing and I really don't want to spoil this. Just buy it. Read it. Love it.

Great story about a family that has been hurt by both parents to the point of believing that love for one person isn’t possible until he did

Sandy Lynn has a way of bringing unlikely strangers together to create amazing characters. Max and Emma's story is just that. Their arrangement to pretend to be engaged for three months wasn't supposed to last but feelings got in the way to create an emotional realization. I read this book in one sitting because I just couldn't put it down.

This book started as a exciting story between two people who became friends and eventually lovers, because of an unusual circumstance. While it has some exciting moments, there were some which were kinda boring also. And it became really predictable towards the end. So for some who wants an easy read, relaxing love story, this is the book for you. So relaxing that it helped me sleep in the night time.

“Emma, I love you and Sarah so much that I never thought it could be possible. My love for you is so overwhelming that it makes me incredibly happy. You make me incredibly happy and I can’t imagine life without you and Sarah. You’ve completed my entire world. Hell, you’ve completed my entire universe. You have brought so much good into my life and have taught me so many things. I need you and want you to be my forever. Will you do me the honor of becoming my wife?” My teary eyes stared into his as my heart began racing. This was so unexpected and the fact that he proposed to me while holding our daughter made me the happiest woman in the world. “Yes, Max, I will marry you!” “Really?” “Yes!” I smiled. “Did you hear that, Sarah? Your mom said yes!” He leaned over and kissed me passionately. “Here, take her for a second.” I took Sarah from him as he reached into his pants pocket and pulled out a beautiful diamond ring. “This ring is a new one because we’re starting over, and I never want you to take it off. It symbolizes my love for you and a new beginning. This isn’t a proposed deal, Emma. It’s the real thing and I wanted you to have something new. Not something that was a reminder of what the old ring represented. I hope you like it.” He slipped the ring on my finger. “It’s beautiful. I love it.” I smiled. We both stood up and I put Sarah back in her stroller, then Max and I hugged tightly as he picked me up and spun me around. “I love you, Emma. More than words could ever say.” “I love you too, Max. I love you so much.” His lips locked with mine as we passionately kissed until Sarah decided to cry. We both laughed as we pushed her around Central Park, taking in the summer warmth and the beauty of nature that surrounded us. Not all that long ago, Max Hamilton and I made a deal. A deal that neither one of us thought would change our lives forever. Fate stepped in that night we first met in Miami and led us on a journey that got us to where we were today. It wasn’t an easy journey, but I wouldn’t have traded it for the world. Max and Sarah were my entire life and I loved them both with my heart and soul. We were married a year later. Sarah was my flower girl and looked like a princess as she walked down the aisle to her daddy. Darren walked me down the aisle and gave my hand to Max. As we stood there in front of our family and friends, we said our vows to each other while our daughter stood in front of us and watched. She had her moments, but it was all good. Max eventually reconciled with his mother, but not his father. The scars were too deep, and I couldn’t really blame him. Fiona flew back from Paris to attend the wedding, and my mom and stepdad, Danny, also flew in. Max once again put them up at The Plaza because he knew how much they loved it there. I was now Mrs. Emma Hamilton and married to the love of my life. I never would have thought that the hot and sexy man I stared at across the bar at a nightclub in Miami would become my husband and that we’d have a beautiful healthy daughter. Max’s proposed deal turned out to be the best deal of a lifetime and I couldn’t image my life any other way.

If only they had told each other how they felt. Good thing Max came to see Emma, before she had Sarah, so he could be there for the birth.

The story between max and Emma had such emotions, both characters have something to gain from their proposed deal and didn't think feeling would be involved.
Max has some deep rooted issues with his family and has a plane to change his future.
Emma has dreams and these dreams can only be made from changing her path.
Great short story read this book within 24 hours the author put a lot of emotion, description and set a great plot.
Highly recommend this book and other books from this author.
