There are just so many things I loved about this book and just keep coming back to read it again and again! But first, let's get the bad editing out of the way - a plethora of sentence structure mistakes plus some word mis-use (e.g. sneer/snare, worst/worse, joined/joint, etc) make for some difficult reading. It almost seems like the story was dictated then translated electronically, because when using the 'text to speech' feature, all these mistakes are not evident. It's just when actually reading it that the mistakes are so glaring. With all that said, I, surprisingly, STILL love this story!

Both the lead characters are fabulous. Skylar is sweet and innocent, yet ultimately strong-willed. Talon is the ultimate leader-of-the-pack bad boy who falls completely head over heels, no-other-woman-will-do in love with Skylar at first sight. Apparently, the men of Talon's family have a tradition of becoming crazily obsessive when they find their one true love ... An obsession reminiscent of R. L. Mathewson's Neighbor From Hell series. The inner and outer dialogues are a hoot, the leads are lovable and intelligent, the secondary characters are fabulous and really add to the story, the angst is not overblown, the intimate scenes are steamy and very well-done, and the epilogue is one of the best I've read. (And I've read a lot.)

I usually pass on the 'young adult' themes because they mostly come off like a Jr. High class, over-the-top angsty writing project, but this one way surpasses the norm. Ironically, it's one of my favorite reads now! I highly recommend this one (if you can overlook the atrocious editing!).

Boy, do I love the Avery men and the ladies aren't so bad either. But the one who holds the special place is Nonna!!
Talon and Skylar has a rough start - Talon knew she was the one across a football field. Skylar had a little healing to do from a bad hometown experience. Then there was crazy McKenzie- the witch from Talon's past. But all-in-all things worked out for the best, yes a HEA.
Between Talon and Skylar's shenanigans plus Sasha the dog. And the sterling advise from all the Avery family members (especially Nonna) I haven't laughed so hard or long in a while.
This was my first read from this author and needless to say it won't be my last. Ms. Silver is a very entertaining writer.
I would recommend this book to anyone who wants a lively story and lots of love.

This is a tough book to review. If I had to rate it based on editing alone, I would give it 1 star. It was some of the worst I've ever seen! Lack of punctuation, too much punctuation, missing words, extra words, capitalization errors, spelling errors, run-on sentences, wrong words used ("too" instead of "to", "your" instead of "you're"..), stilted, odd conversations and every other mistake you can think of, this book had it, and pretty much in every sentence. The author should have sent it to my 13 year-old son so he could have cleaned it up for her because he would have done a way better job! Bad editing is really hard for me to overlook and this one was a nightmare.

That being said, I still give this book 4 stars because the story sucked me in right away and was incredibly entertaining. Usually I'm so busy correcting errors in my head I can't enjoy a story but that wasn't the case with this book. Everything about it was so over the top it normally would have had me rolling my eyes and giving up about 1/3 of the way through but I actually couldn't put it down. I can't quite figure out why I liked it so much but I'm sure it was because of Talon - he was so crazy about Skylar and the things he did because of her were immensely laughable. He was so single-minded when it came to her it was pretty sweet. I also liked that this book was told almost entirely from Talon's POV. A few short chapters were in Skylar's and one was in his best friend Kevin's POV.

Lots of fun!!

This is the best caveman, alpha, over the top, hero I have ever read. He fell hard and I mean hard. It was so funny how intense and head over heals he was in love for heroine. I just loved it!

Heroine transferred to the new college to get over betrayal of her ex fiancée. She has never really made any decisions for herself and was expected to marry her ex fiancée. She has her own mind but is very submissive. She went along with whatever her family wanted from her. Well when she runs to be with her best friend she go more than she bargained for. It is in this new college that she meets the hero.

The hero is described as man whore. Never goes back for seconds. However, one look at the heroine and he doesn't even fight it. He quickly moves things along and dominants that relationship.

There is a lot of drama that comes from heroine's family and ex fiancee, hero's ex relationships (if you can call them that) and personal things they go through in their quest for HEA. However, together they make it work and the best part was how supportive the hero was in helping heroine overcome her hurts/fears.

However, this book also had humor. The hero recognizes he is caveman like and laid back, but he is also open about how he does not care. He know what he wants and is confident in getting it. Great book. I loved all of it! Safe read. No OW/OM. No separation or misunderstandings. These two communicate, doesn't mean hero listens, but they communicate:)

I dare you to read this book and not fall in love with Talon! Seriously, the guy is just the ultimate fantasy.

So Skylar swaps colleges due to a cheating ex and ends up catching the eye of the schools man whore at a football game. Part of the Avery men's legacy is finding their one and going somewhat caveman to put it mildly. Due to his reputation Skylar is wary, but gives in cos let's face it he's not gonna take no and so begins what has to be one of my very favourite Jordan silver books. There are events that leave you wondering who dunnit, meddling bothersome ex's on both their sides, eBay selling parents (that still gets me roaring), a big ass $1m dog, a hilarious grandma, an alpha and a sweet leading female. The whole book from start to finish had me hooked and that's each time I've read it. There's a plot and you can't help but play detective and sneer at the character as well as coo over talon being so lovely and his alpha side as well as a huge amount of laughter mixed in with the usual steamy scenes.

I love love LOVE this book and I would highly recommend it as a must have
