He Loves Me Not is definitely a novel of suspense. Twenty year old Lily Jamison is a college student trying to get through the loss of her father. She begins college and meets a man name Trevor. Trevor and Lily soon begin dating but while dating there are a series of messages Lily receives about staying away from Trevor. Will Lily follow the advice of this anonymous person or stay with Trevor?

Oh. My. Gosh. This novel had me on the verge of tears. Lily goes through this whole battle by herself, without family, and with a surprise. I felt so bad for her and was with her 100% of the way. During the novel I got really frustrated by the choices Lily made but I'm glad she did the right thing. This book is very interesting. It first starts off slow but as the plot develops the more suspenseful it becomes. I read this book nonstop. It kept me on edge and had me cheering for Lily.

I recommend this book to all girls/women across the world. It shows that girls/women have power and with the will to succeed we can have anything we want. This book definitely (and by far!) deserves 5 stars!

I got this book through BookBub for free. Though not typically what I read, the title appealed to me and the price was right:) By the time I reached Chapter 10, I was dragging and not sure whether I would finish it. I looked at the book reviews and they were very mixed. Out of respect for the author and her craft, I decided to read on, hoping the story would get better. And I'm so glad I did. Once I hit 40%, I became so engrossed in the plot, trying to understand how Lily would stay in her relationship with Trevor, a horribly, abusive man. The author did a very good job, showing the main character's transformation from an inmature, extremely insecure young woman to a person driven by fear, fighting for her life and ultimately...well, you have to read the book. When I got to the good parts, I couldn't put this book down until I not only finished it but also read the first 5 chapters of the author's second book which I intend to buy.

As I got into the book I couldn't put it down and neglected my other chores to finish it! Lol! I am excited to start the 2nd book and see what happens to Lily! Thing aren't happening every second of the book but the tension builds as it gets toward the end and I was on the edge of my seat wondering what would happen next! Thanks for an exciting 1st book in the series! (I was in an abusive relationship although I never stayed in it long enough for it to get physical but I could so relate to Lily's feelings of making excuses for the man and blaming herself. The feelings of constantly being off kilter and walking on eggshells to please is exhausting and debilitating!)

This novel was interesting. The way it is written made me think something was going to happen. It is a novel about control and the female in the story is Lily- she is a loner, all alone, her father died recently and her mother died years ago. She doen't get out much and doesn' have any friends. She meets this guy the first day she is at school- she falls into him and finds that she is extremely attracted to him.

She does make a few friends and when they give her advice she doesn't listen to them. She ignores many signs that this guy is not on the up and up an marries him. For the most part it was a good book, and you feel like you are right there experienceing it with her. The story was good enough that I kept reading, but knew something was going to happen- due to the style - its a good mystery- but makes you paranoid that someone is out to get you.

I gave this book a five star review because it is full of suspense and mild romance. The main character in the story is a girl named Lily who I'd in college and marries a man she had only met for a couple of months. She thought he loved her but he had two personalities. One minute he is a nice sweet caring husband and the next minutes he is quick tempered and ready harm Lily. Lily didn't know till later but her "husband" was always drinking and would mysteriously go to work 24/7. Lily caught him and called the police because she didn't like the physical and emotional pain he was giving her. She later ran away and was pregnant with his baby. Shortcut her long black hair and dyed it a blinding color. She even changed her nAme other deceased mom's name: Kate. This a wonderfully interesting book and I am.definitely.going to read the second one.

I found this to be a highly enjoyable read. I did not want to put it down and would look for excuses to pick it up again. I ended up reading it in about two days.

Lily Jamison is starting college after taking care of her father and is using her inheritance money to put herself through her studies. She is somewhat naive at the start of the story but she is easy to like and relate to. So when she has two students after her attentions, she does not know what to do. She finds herself attracted to one in particular which is where the suspense element comes into play, as she begins to learn just what she has gotten herself into. The story has a good flow to it and you can see how the lead characters change as the nature of their relationship evolves, while the support cast play important roles in Lily's story. Although some things turned out as I thought, there are still quite a few surprises to maintain interest throughout, and the story ends on an appropriate cliffhanger.

A recommended read to anyone who likes a romance with a twist. I shall be downloading the sequel at some point in the near future.
