It was an entertaining novel and the length was just what I like. I hate when books are less than 300 pages and with over 400 pages it made my weekend great. Few things I didn't like and must be mentioned in case Silver is reading reviews. Hope u have an editor or one worth more than a penny by now. My goodness, if I was not enjoying the story, especially the fact that it was related mainly from the H's views, which is my preference, I would have stopped reading very early. The number of misspelt words and lack of punctuation marks especially commas were appalling. Also, though 17 -18 is young but some girls at that age are a lot more mature than Ashley. Silver needed to make her less childlike. For The reasons just mentioned I gave 4 stars instead of 5 but if u can glance over the misspelt words then you are definitely going to be entertained. The good... The sex scenes were hot and plenty but not overwhelming, I especially liked the parts with Jason. Also, although it may sound wicked but I had
no difficulty with the manner with which he dealt with his ex, the senator and the Doctor and her father. The end was complete and the HEA had me swooning. Would recommend. Just took one star for poor or no editing.

Wow this book was so good. Gideon and Ashley story was so sweet and dirty just the way I like it. The moment Gideon seen her he knew she was it for him. Yes she young still in school with her school girl uniform. But he just can't help himself especially when he finds out what a monster her father is. He knows that now he has to save her and give her a happy long life she deserves. So he does everything he needs to do to make that happen. And in the end Ashley is more then happy she on cloud 9.

Ugh - ok, so I really LOVED this story, the Alpha H, the sweet and sassy h, their dynamic, the hot stuff, the storyline (to a point - explained in the SPOILERS below). It would have rated more stars but - the writing was just off - the punctuation was off, and some of it (most of it?) didn't flow correctly. Enough to make me slightly frustrated with the book. Maybe it is one of the author's first books before she had experience? That is how it read to me. I did end up skimming some of it (SPOILERS below explain why).

There were parts of the story that didn't feel like they should be there - I would consider this a contemporary romance, but then some random paranormal was thrown in and not even in a believable way - it was distracting and for the most part I skimmed that. Also, the H is supposed to be just a rich guy, but throughout the story, he does stuff (violence) that seems more mafia, but without the elements (mafia explanation or other) that explain the actions that don't fit in with him being just a rich man. Finally, the author makes a big deal about some things and then you never get them - the wedding, the relationship with his family - it was frustrating to have the loose ends and the weird elements in the story.

As Gideon and Ashley get to know one another and obsession turns to love terrible secrets start to emerge. Ashley's fathers hearted for her leads to a plot to sell her to human traffickers. The more Gideon digs the uglier the truth becomes and he is determined to being some very powerful people to Justice.
Loved Gideon and Ashley's story. Jason Stark needs his own HEA. The Billionaire is set in the same universe as SEAL Team 7, The Lyon Series, Mancini's Way, The Bikers Baby Girl, Man of Steel, Bad Boy, and Rough Rider.

I bought this despite the reviews and I'm glad I did. I knocked off a star for editing, as this particular story had far more than just a few mistakes. This particular book starts off with Gideon lusting after 17 year old Ashley. He's 26. I was able to look past this because she was just a few months shy of 18, and noble Gideon would have waited for his girl if he hadn't had to rescue her from a terrible situation. He is a typical alpha hero written by Jordan Silver: he knows what he wants, goes after it and will do anything to protect his lady. Things get kind of crazy in the second half, there is mention of werewolves but it's not really a major theme of the story. There is also an underlying plot to take down a child sex trafficking ring, this might be an uncomfortable subject for some to read about, although I felt she did it okay, not going into to much detail. Overall I enjoyed this story. Ashley behaved very young for an almost 18 year old, I'm guessing because of how she was brought up. Her innocence is part of the draw for Gideon though.

I think i should just copy and paste that heading from now on in regards to Silver. I really enjoyed this story. It had a solid foundation and had an element of darkness that made me feel naughty. Character development was solid. There is aspects of human trafficking, child abuse and child sexual assult.

Loved this book as usual with MS silver. Another member of the squad. Gideon was not quite as nuts as all the others but for someone so young he was quite ruthless. Ashley was quite young and needed a lot of reassurance which he gave her. The book gave you food for thought and was quite shocking in parts. But you do understand what this body of men are up against. I still have to say Colton Lyon is my favourite.
