What a clever idea for Larry Niven to fill out his Known Universe with these Man-Kzin stories. No writer could possibly have the time to develop these ideas by doing it himself and having the stories written by others brings fresh blood to the task. Winners all.

More great stories about the war with the cats. Niven's stories are always top notch, the other authors vary from good to very good.

But somehow, I didn't find it as interesting as the previous entries in the series. Not sure whether the difference is in the caliber of the writing, or in myself. It's been years since I last read one of these. Something seemed to be missing, but for the life of me, I can't explain why I feel that way.

Fun reading. Different stories in one book, interwoven with each other and with previous Man-Kzin War books. Good science fiction and sometimes quite humorous. Worth it.

Another great collection of stories by authors worthy of playing in Man-Kzin space. Mr Niven's hunting story to close out the book is an instant favorite.

Another excellent addition to the series; if you like the others, you'll like this. The series doesn't have to be read in order but the stories do move along the timeline, particularly with the stories about Wunderland, so best if do do start with No. 1 and work your way up.
