* Wow, I am completely blown away by the image quality coming out of this camera with the 18-55 kit lens (the more expensive one). The images are on par with those I would take with my 5Dii and a very good prime lens. But it's the kit lens! That zooms! See the attached picture. I'm not sure if amazon will reduce the file quality, but if you can zoom in and look at the details, they are perfect. Every bit as good as with a professional SLR and expensive prime.
* I shoot everything in RAW. the colors coming out of the camera are really great. Again, on par with what I can get with a great prime lens. Nothing is washed out. The colors are vibrant and beautiful. With that said, I have noticed that some shots in bright outdoor lighting have a bit of an unwelcome blue cast to them. Easily adjusted later and this might be a setting that I'm missing.
* Being able to charge the camera over USB was an unexpected surprise that I hadn't thought about. Now I can leave the battery charger at home and just plug in with a mini-USB and my cell phone's wall adapter. I can also charge the camera with a pocket battery pack, like the kind you would charge a cell phone with.
* The face detection is pretty good. The eye detection is a bit less sharp, unless you are dealing with a subject sitting completely still. For some reason the face detection doesn't always show up for me.
* I love being able to focus using the touch screen. Note that this is not the default behavior and you have to update your settings. Want to focus on the person in the corner? Just touch their face. It's great. You do have to remember, though, that the focus will remain in that spot until you update it.
* Another unexpected benefit: that you can shoot without holding the camera up to your eye. People just seem less stressed out when you are behaving more like a tourist than a "photographer."
* An unexpected disappointment: I use Lightroom version 5.7, which is a couple years old. It won't accept the RAW images from this camera, because the software is no longer developed to include newer camera models. Adobe wants you to pay $10 a month for their crappy newer version, but you can also download the Adobe Digital Negative Converter application for WIndows or Mac, and it will losslessly convert the RAW images to a format that an older Lightroom will accept.
That's all I have after a week. Overall, I'm really impressed with this little camera. It fits in a coat pocket and takes pictures that are on par with a huge SLR that was the state of the art five years ago. I'll definitely keep it for travel, and as I get more comfortable with it, maybe replace the big SLR with it entirely.

Build Quality: It's nice. Some plastic, but in the right places. Nice metal edge. It feels solid, but not too heavy that it feels unbalanced. I would say fuji struck a perfect balance with this one. The latches feel good, the buttons feel good, the shutter button and rear screen are fast, with minimal to no delay.
Processor: Fast, shooting raw+jpg can take a little while for files to buffer, even with a nice fast card. I've seen worse, but you won't be shooting a nascar race with this thing.
Image Quality: BLOWN A.W.A.Y. good. I wasn't expecting what came out of this little camera to be so freakin good. Fuji has just this magic with their JPG's that others only dream about. The new xtrans processor has excellent low light performance, and images look super clean. I shot quite a few 6400+ and it was completely usable. I'd say it beats my 6d, and that's known for low light cleans on it's JPG's. Detail is superb. I shot with the slightly better 17-55 2.8-4 "kit" and it was better than a d610 with a 85mm 1.8 attached (I know, I didn't believe it till I saw it either.
Touch Screen: I didn't think I'd care about a touch screen, but touch focusing on a point on the fly is an incredible experience, and one that I don't know if I could give up now. Why do ALL cameras not have this feature? I found myself naturally clicking my target, and shoot. It's so fast, and intuitive I very rarely missed a shot.
Pros: Fast
Small
Light
Powerful
Exceptional IQ and Low Light
JPG'S are incredible
CONS: Battery could be SLIGHTLY better (I got around 450 per battery)
The screen would sometimes lag between live view, and the viewfinder.
A couple weird bugs with the image on the screen appearing with what looked like a filter, when no filter was chosen (it didn't shoot with a filter, it just looked this way till I changed shooting modes.
The viewfinder is a little small. The rear screen is so good I didn't use the viewfinder hardly at all. It didn't lag shooting anyway.
OVERALL: If you're in the market for a small, interchangeable lens camera, this one is incredible. I was debating returning it at first, but after this wedding shoot I'm hooked. I only have one lens, and it's a stock. But the files coming from this thing just are too good. You will NOT look like a "pro" photographer at a wedding using one of these, but just let your images speak for themselves. I love how I can be discrete, and this thing would be wonderful for street photography.
TLDR: BUY IT!

Expect ISO noise up after 1600 but much better than cameras even a year or two older. Bokeh is really nice stock. You get some very nice backgrounds for portrait or focused subject work. But it will open up for landscape if you want it. It has all the settings you need to create some very high quality images, light work, waterfalls, you name it, you will be able to get as sharp or motion captured as you want.
I am lucky enough to have the 80mm OIS macro lens (a most excellent lens). The photo of the insect is taken with that. The Alpaca is stock. zoom in on the original raw, you can see the park reflecting in his eye. This is at 55mm from about 35 feet.
The first shot is taken stock camera. The 2nd shot is with the macro lens. The camera is capable of getting real macro. But quality is assured. Great for travel, great for the serious shutterbug.
The T3 and T30 are out now, but the cost difference just at this time isn't giving you that much in value. With a couple of quality lenses I am beyond satisfied.

Switching from a Nikon D3200 (and multiple lenses) to this lightweight and fun mirrorless, I'm finding it hard to put this camera down and use the Nikon for anything anymore.
Pros:
Everything.
Cons:
Nothing.
But seriously? This camera is so much fun to shoot with...
It's lightweight, so you'll actually carry it around and not get annoyed with the extra bulk. It focuses fast, and I have yet to find a reason to not make this the only camera I use. The picture quality is great. It feels great to shoot with (the size fits perfectly for my hands, but I can see how someone with very large/thick hands may struggle).
The one drawback might be that it's a challenge to find compatible lenses, and Fujinon lenses are a bit on the pricy side. Beautifully made, but pricey nonetheless. There are adapters, but they're 'dummy' adapters so you won't get any of the functions aside from going full-manual (and you'll need to do the tape-hack to set up your aperture manually).
To each their own, but the lens prices are definitely something to consider if you're frugal.
That being said... I've added the 15-45mm and 55-230mm to my collection for this camera, and these two together make me feel that I don't need anything else because they cover so much... Whereas with my Nikon, I felt like I needed at minimum 4 lenses.
