This fondue pot does what it's designed to do. It heats up very fast. It has plenty of power for getting oil to temperature. It's very sturdy and I imagine it will last a long time. My request for development would be on the low side of the temperature. Level 2 is still quite hot, too hot for chocolate. A lower temperature at levels 1-2 would be helpful.

I made chocolate fondue the first time I used the pot and was happy at how easy and fast the whole thing came together. Love that I can put the whole thing in the dishwasher! Looking forward to some cheese fondue in the very near future.

Cuisinart Electric Fondue Pot

Great pot.  You can make your fondue right in the pot and then simply keep it warm for dipping.  Was pleasantly surprised also at the ease of cleaning.  Highly recommend!

Best Fondue Pot Ever!

Love this! It is easy to clean (which was a big concern), compact so it stores easily (another concern being it's not an everyday use) and works wonderfully!

Great Fondue Pot!

Worked fine , just what I had hoped for, it would be nice if you would add a glass lid to the package, to use when the pot is being used out of doors, when something other than Fondue is in it. I used the pot for Queso dip the last time & it was great.

First time.

The metal used for the pot is low quality. And, the metal used for the splash guard/fork ring is even cheaper. The non stick lining in the pot is very thin and not designed to last long, especially given the common use of an electric fondue pot for the hot heating of cooking oil and broth. The grooves in the splash guard/fork ring for holding forks does not do a good job of keeping the forks in place. They are not designed well enough to hold the forks steady from the waves caused by bubbling oil/broth in the pot. And, the pot is not large enough to sensibly accommodate eight forks. Very disappointed with this purchase. Am returning it and looking for a pot built much better.
